I think Armaan's outburst was long overdue. Its not like he kissed the ground Ruhi walked on. He's been very stern with her n given her reality checks from time to time. He just reached his threshold today after the emotional rollercoaster the last few days from courtroom drama were. He was very touched yesterday after V said ki Abhira spoke to her about saga sautela. Abhira was about to run so Armaan wouldn't have to choose, wouldn't have to give up his family for her and this also affected him a lot!

Yesterday also, he was annoyed with Ruhi when she came to Abhimaan ka room n tried to blame Abhira for wanting to run n Armaan sa defended wifey, saying ki she was doing that for him only. He was annoyed AF when he told her ki wifey heard Ruhi telling him to leave her.

I think his outburst today was building over time n we did see glimpses of it beech beech mein.

His character arc has been moving in this direction where he takes a strong stand against fam n ruhi. He has always stood with Abhira n defended her in most instances. Just the intensity behind it was different, which can be explained by the emotional rollercoaster and also his evolving feelings for baby sa.

If RP wala Armaan is gng to be stern with the Ruhi, that's just the natural progression of the character arc. We all knew it was cmg, the day he'll rebuke ruhi. He's gradually been firmer with her if you think back to all the episodes.

We shouldn't attribute his progression to change in character.

IMO, the change could b a delayed response of armaan ka character...makers must b in a dilemma to chage the actor for the character...so were delaying his response....as normally, after ruhi ke open advances , armaan ka character should have responded in a stern manner...but that was somewhat not shown......to ho sakta hai, makers wanted the new actor to start that journey.....

makers ne actors ke baar mein nahi socha hoga...apne drame and character ke baare mein socha hoga...😂...so abhira armaan ki real story they may have wanted to start with the new actor...😂

Since the poster had replied to me and you have reacted to the same, I am forced to assume your comment is directed at me. Maybe you have not seen my posts where I have defended Armaan or tried to understand him. While I have not been a fan of the characterisation, I have always cut slack where deserved. It is not possible to attribute anything to Armaan v2 at this point since we are yet to see him. However the writers are the same and it is a fact that characterisation is tweaked a little bit to suit actors. While I am no fan of Shehzada Dhami and his off-sceeen antics put me off completely, I certainly don’t hold him responsible for the poorly written character. He can only perform what is written and how well or badly he performs that is on him. But the written material is what is given to him to build on!

Totally agree ..these questions are coming up only because of the change in actor ..making us wonder if the progress was slowed down because of behind the scenes politics and is being hastened now ..we won’t ever know but we can’t stop wondering :)

i was expectiin armaan ka strong response to ruhi ke advances early...but when armaan was shown favoring ruhi and her illogical talks and cutting of abhira, i thot makers had other plans for abhira...but now looks like makers were delaying armaan ka response......as y to start the journey when they were not sure whether the aftor will b retained or now for that character......

yes, v cannot know what went wrong...kab se chala aa raha hai...real mein hua kya, makers ne kab se planning shuru ki change ki....as achanak se to actors bhi nahi mile honge...to defo, makers had all the changes in their minds...so y take chances with the drama and they may have thot of dragging...kyunki bahut drag ho raha tha...😂 and now this can b attributed to the change in actor as one of the reasons...sach kya hai kise pata..😂

by this time the writers knew the actor will be changed soon .. so they were building plots where Armaan will start defending Abhira and even call of Ruhi

But one important point .. Armaan n Abhira should have spoken up now that no offscreen reason is there .. talking of badtamezi .. isn’t Abhira the jethani and Ruhi devrani .. how is she calling her off publicly infront of others ..

there are many families where a jethani is younger than Devrani but they still maintain the level of respect .

Today also dadi clubbed Vidya n Abhira together as badi bahuye and clubbed manisha n ruhi as chhoti bahuye .. so she knows the demarcation.. now Vidya should implement it .. that you Ruhi are staying in the house as Rohit’s wife not armaan’s friend.. so when Rohit called Armaan bhaiya and Abhira bhabhi why are you calling them by names and fighting with them .. when they copy Ghum .. they forgot that Pakhi was Samrat’s wife ( who was not dead but Missing in War ) who was the elder cousin of virat .. so she got off by calling virat and passing if as his old friend.. but over here it is not the same case .. plus Armaan is not a cousin literally Rohit’s older brother

The only person I have hopes from regarding this is Manisha chachi

N V said, arre nahi, they are similar ages ke, you can call name se n all

So I think the probability of Manisha calling out ruhi, who has hawas for her married and uninterested BIL, is higher than V doing it
