In the mini-auction, CSK reinforced their batting by buying Daryl Mitchell and also provided balance to their squad adding all-rounders Shardul Thakur, Rachin Ravindra and left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman. They also bought the talented youngster Sameer Rizvi to further strengthen their batting.
