Oh dear what a saga the past couple of days has been. I have been a silent viewer of this forum and not a huge fan of the show as such (my mother is mad about this show though and is a loyal viewer since Season 1) so I was appraised with what was going on.

Multiple opinions and some highly thought provoking and logical has been noted, I thought may as well add in my own two cents. The way I see it is no organisation/company will enforce immediate termination without covering their backs. Gone are the days where people would not say a word and go back to where came from, times have changed. Therefore:

  1. I doubt that this "sudden termination" was that sudden. That leaves the party doing the termination open for lawsuits and more than that bad publicity and potential defamation case too. It also gives more ammunition to the person being terminated (with or without a justifiable termination clause in the employment agreement).
  2. For gossip purposes media has always cherry picked things to bring most viewership and they aren't obliged to investigate further. Some good journalists have (Bob Woodward) but not all and it is what it is. A story will be story until another one comes in and becomes even a bigger story.
  3. Both actors sadly missed a golden opportunity. Any workplace when you join as a newbie you suss the place out. Most will be reserved for at least for a good six months before they settle in and be more confident. Here I never understood the girl (granted I did not watch the show regularly so perhaps I may be wrong here) who could barely act and the guy sadly was trying too hard.
  4. There has to be a very good reason for terminating them in such manner. I recall when Donald Trump's Chief of Staff John Kelly fired one of Donald's campaign advisor and told him to leave so fast he left his jacket behind. Turns out he was gambling on the side and was managing Trump's funds which was a huge conflict of interest. Then he himself got fired via tweet.
  5. I recall another incident when I was working with this big organisation - there were these two people who would call each other their work husband and wife and were plain obnoxious, loud, and cringe. Many people including me complained that every morning we come to work and first thing we see is these two in some or other compromising position. I do not want to start work at 8am and watch that early in the morning. The management then put them in different team and you would hear them talk so loudly to each other in the kitchen, or near the washroom it was unbearable and no one could do their work. In the end one was let go and other moved into different branch in different town. Whenever I think about them I shudder with the revolt I felt watching their shenanigans.

In my opinion, these two relatively new actors lost a very good career opportunity. I think respect is must doesn't matter what is your title or role. I have seen and heard so many good stories about A grade movie stars being polite, humble, and kind to others. Giving respect to the CEO is just as important as giving respect to the janitor. If they were disrespectful that speaks of them as a person and perhaps gave a cause for justifiable termination. I highly doubt an established production house would not cover their bases, and consult their legal team prior to terminating the actors. Was it a good thing to do? It depends - for me personally if one is behaving in an unbecoming manner publicly then consequences should be public as well. The fact that neither have said a word sort of indicates some truth behind the "stories", and doesn't matter who you are manners are non negotiable. I don't know how Indian television industry is, but looking at Hollywood rarely terminated actors go to court and win compensation. If you are talented and show you have changed then work will come to you and if you continue to go in the path you are travelling and be disrespectful then you won't be able to hold on to any work. I think the production house did what was best for them, their job is not to be nice or consider personal circumstances, it would be nice if they did but there is no obligation. The actors - lets hope they learn from this and whatever they choose to do in future they do it with humility and be successful.

Watching old interviews and segments of Sheh, i just don't see anything strange except his over friendliness and closeness with P which was giving NB-ASB vibes. But he looks so friendly and Normal in sbs segments and stuff its tough to believe that he's been so unprofessional that they had to sack him. Honestly despite his offscreen canoodling with P, his onscreen performance has been good even though I have not always agreed with the way Armaan is written.. Was he such a good actor that his antics were never reflected in his behavior in these segments and bytes.

For example Karan Patel reeks of arrogance and entitlement. He supposedly publicly admitted to his faults but still he is so loud, crass, and arrogant. Thats his core personality. But i never saw that in Shehs body language. I was not a fan of the Sheh-P subtle PDA and constantly sidelining Sam but they were not as cringe as NB ASB.

Well written . Will just add that even though in ivs he showed more than necessary affection for Pratiksha, he did not get that impact his performance when acting his scenes with Abhira.

NB & ASB were not cringe in the first few months there used to be 3 of them giving IVs too

The cringe started later ...these two have reached or survived that far

I stopped watching because of IVs and acting " sucked "....Why to watch wooden face and no expression face

NB though didn't behave his age and experience off screen on screen he was a good actor and his wife had screen presence real villian vibes

Here nothing

Here also looks like initially things were fine but later he got too carried away both attitude wise and pda wise.

NB and ASB were horrible people. Their personality sucked.

NB had acting chops but only when he felt like it. He declined steadily. He let offscreen impact performance. So many crucial scenes had his BD , not him.

ASB seemed to be transferring her real life insecurities and anger , jealousy onscreen

Her real life persona was so fake, pretentious and gave negative vibes. She had the same onscreen too when she was sharing screen with Ayesha.

The 2 of them were cringe to another level and definitely made FL Ayesha extremely uncomfortable but she tolerated it with a smile.

Exactly, that's were I am stuck... He didnt look so arrogant types.. Even in BTS videos he looked like a friendly guy... Can someone act like that I don't know.. I have seen a video where these two were sitting together and were touchy touchy, someone from crew was recording them and he noticed it... he smiled and took it in a sporty way... I was like, they are so cool about it, kuch galat kar rahe the toh khule aam thodi karte.. and Sheh was kind there.. Though his nature is a bit alpha male types, I have felt, in one interview Prat says he is not scared of anything.. But he never showed up like a problematic and egoistic person in interviews or BTS.. Most of the time smiling hi dikha hain use..

Also it should be appreciated that the offscreen dynamics never affected his performance onscreen... I was very careful initially bcoz of previous experiences.... In Ghum, these equations were clearly affecting the onscreen performance... I could never connect to SaiRat after a certain point, I am sorry, but NB's body language clearly took the whole chemistry away... The chemistry was more on PakRat than SaiRat... But here, the onscreen chemistry was 🔥 and even RuHaan scenes were also well maintained with distance by Sheh as required for the character (after marriage)...
