It’s not that I don’t believe in second chances, but understanding the way Imlie loves, as it’s the way I love, I get why she would never want to move on from Agastya. She’s experienced the kind of love that consumes your very being and now it’s gone. It’s not easy to make space for someone else in your heart after that.
Imlie has barely had the time to properly grief Agastya, she has instead been caught up with taking care of the Chaudhary’s. It sucks that she never gets to stay still, nothing in her life gets to be permanent.Dadi is simply trying to look out for her, it must’ve been hearbreaking to see Imlie not fight to survive. What made me tear up the most is when she said that Imlie has lived 25 years living for others and that it’s now time for her to live for herself. But at the same time, it’s not right to force a decision out of her so early without giving her time to process things.
Every time they mention Agastya’s death, I feel this heavy weight on my heart. His death being just some accident caused by Surya’s enemy is so disheartening. He didn’t even get a chance to love and be loved by Imlie with their full potential. He’s just gone and it doesn’t feel real knowing Imlie will never have her Babu back. After another set of hurdles, she’s going to settle for Surya.I’m still feeling pretty emotional, I’ll keep watching though. Although, these days my excitement is lower, I’m probably not going to be the most active. Aage ki kahani shayad de zakhme ruaani…
@bold:- Today's episode was written really well and every character was right in their own perspective and thinking. So these writers can write awesome scenes. But now the challenge is how are they are going to one up the love story they have penned down for Agastya - Imlie. Imlie loves her babu with all her heart and she will not be able to move on from that love. Also Surya will always feel guilty for coming in between Agastya and Imlie and even if he falls in love with Imlie he will always feel inferior to Agastya.
I understand Dadi ka wish to look out for Imlie as she feels bad for not trusting Imlie and doing wrong with her by forcing Agastya to marry Binni. And now to know that Agastya did not die due to Imlie but his death was due to Surya ka enemies - Sigh. My eyes were tearing up when Imlie said that only due to the promise she gave to babu she did not die and jump off that cliff. I still can not go back and watch that episode and that last dialogue of Agastya - Ajji Sunti ho, I love you Imlie and Imlie saying - Hum bhi babu.
Like I mentioned once Agastya - Imlie ka love story would be the perfect description of unrequited love in Indian TV for me as all the shows I have watched till now had happy endings for their lead pairs. I feel pretty emotional whenever I hear the name Agastya. I will watch the show though for Sai and Adrija's sake. I just hope the writers don't do these novice mistakes again in this revamp and give a meaningful story. Just don't rush into the plot but rather give thehraav to the story.
SP has already done this before. Let Surya remain as the badass cop who supports his wife.
