Yes the sub plots in the beginning were not executed properly. The audience were not engaged and the leads were over worked. The week which had max Sai - Adrija ka scenes (like the first kidnapping of Imlie when she is coming back) got better trps compared to the episodes where the whole family was involved. Also the revenge family literally dragged down the trps as the actors were really bad. Had it been good actors with some good plot, the revenge family and the budding love of Imlie - Agastya would have been a recipe for higher trps.

That is why we are now going in for a revamp. Maybe the writing will improve with the new characters as they can write from the beginning.

Maybe you are correct. I was feeling he was talking about Sacche pyar ka vaada and that is the promise he gave to Dadiamma. Let's see.

dialogues and execution( direction and editing) are good 90% of time. They fumble in story and screenplay part. Imlie might be the only show right now where audience will wholeheartedly accept cliche sequences for entertainment factor due to its love story genre but writers se yeh bhi nahi diya jata

Today’s episode made me cry, not gonna lie. Imlie barely had the chance to recover from her injuries and Dadi is insisting on giving her a new wound. My heart felt so bad for her. She could’ve let her rest a bit before emotionally blackmailing her into marrying Surya.

It’s not that I don’t believe in second chances, but understanding the way Imlie loves, as it’s the way I love, I get why she would never want to move on from Agastya. She’s experienced the kind of love that consumes your very being and now it’s gone. It’s not easy to make space for someone else in your heart after that.

Imlie has barely had the time to properly grief Agastya, she has instead been caught up with taking care of the Chaudhary’s. It sucks that she never gets to stay still, nothing in her life gets to be permanent.

Dadi is simply trying to look out for her, it must’ve been hearbreaking to see Imlie not fight to survive. What made me tear up the most is when she said that Imlie has lived 25 years living for others and that it’s now time for her to live for herself. But at the same time, it’s not right to force a decision out of her so early without giving her time to process things.

Every time they mention Agastya’s death, I feel this heavy weight on my heart. His death being just some accident caused by Surya’s enemy is so disheartening. He didn’t even get a chance to love and be loved by Imlie with their full potential. He’s just gone and it doesn’t feel real knowing Imlie will never have her Babu back. After another set of hurdles, she’s going to settle for Surya.

I’m still feeling pretty emotional, I’ll keep watching though. Although, these days my excitement is lower, I’m probably not going to be the most active. Aage ki kahani shayad de zakhme ruaani…

Also I couldn’t tag Gags and her account say “Hibernated”, I think she actually left us ☹️

I hope imlie-surya shaadi se pehle hi, the Chaudhary family die.. and imlie leaves the gaon in grief and goes to which ever place surya’s family is and then Surya also gets transferred to his home place and they meet and start off as a fresh story..

not this biyah karke he will drop a bomb on his family.. and total bakwaas family drama they start off..

And also never imlie-surya marrying.. then Chaudhry family dies. Imlie says let’s go our separate ways and tada imlie as some naukrani in the new reddy family.. this is a big NO

kya hi bolu kuch samj nahi aa raha . I think we have truly reached the same place from where we started. We as Sai fans had conflicting emotions when Sai accepted the show whose trps weren't great and whose survival was in ambiguity. It was notorious for showing 2 womem falling for same man kind of stuff from previous seasons. The first promo wasn't well received due to Sai wig and Adrija imlie being a bar singer. Allegations were made that show has become even more regressive and is showing 60s era stuff. Little did we knew at that time we would be enjoying the retro vibes so much.

the show countered every challenge and slowly became a success in it's own way

Yeh imlie revamp ke liye bhi I don't have much expectations but I do wish the show to do well for it's hardworking leads

You spoke my thoughts. When I saw Sai ka wig wala avatar I was shocked - Not going to lie. And the first promo was not too great especially when the bengali show which had same premise had a better promo. But then the retro vibes and the akhdoo business with chef Imlie stole my heart. I loved the episodes and used to eagerly wait for what song is going to be played in the episode. Agastya came out as a vulnerable guy who just wanted acceptance and the show was number 2 show for 5 weeks straight. I am really glad that Sai make mark as Agastya - a guy who does mistakes but does not hesitate to accept them and rectify them. The stalker track was added unnecessarily but even that track had few good moments.

I don't know what to expect from the revamp but I have a feeling that Gul is going to fight for the show. I think SP is going to allow Imlie to be on air till Leena ka new show doesn't get ready(the one for which Rajja ka FL is being rumored to be signed on) and that would give about 4 months of air time for the show. Let's see. Just hoping Sai and Adrija get success for all the work they are putting in.
