I am surprised anyone came on board as a producer in the first place. I will give it to Nitesh and Farhan for stretching these projects for so long. They will join other PR exercises like Jee Le Zaraa and Katrina's superhero films.

Don3 is happening, the team have even sold the ott rights already to prime video, there wre also pictures from the set design team who have started building the set. Plus ranveer was rumoured to be doing ashwathama with aditya dhar, but aditya is now making another movie and ranveer is being rumoured to star in that. This new ashwathama movie with shahid is not the same as what aditya dhar was going to direct

The movie was attached to director Aditya Dhar (Yami Gautam's husband and Uri Director), was to be produced by Jio and Vicky was to star in it,  the budget became too big  and got shelved, so it is no longer at works.

This movie is a Shahid movie produced by Pooja entertainment  directed by Sachin Ravi.

Shahid's box office pull is no better. 

Ashwatthama was a tall guy. Vicky would’ve been fine, but not Shahid. 

RK would’ve fit well here rather than Ramayan

Ashwatthama was the son of dronacharya, the teacher of pandavas and Kauravas …he helped the kauravas during the kurukshetra war and was said to be cursed by lord krishna post mahabharat to be immortal and suffer forever ..

The legend states that he continues to be alive and living …

Would be an interesting story …wayy more exciting than brahmastra
