I agree. To be honest. I don’t see VJ giving the same energy as he did before. All his IV’s recently have been quite mellow. It’s like he’s saying what he has to say, not really feeling it. He’s not the type to quit a show otherwise he would have left by now.
His job is to convince us of Angad’s emotions and he’s doing that brilliantly. But the issue of not connecting to his emotions is the flaw in the script.
Today though I hated his decision, I felt bad when I saw his grief. And I'll give the entire credit to VJ alone. Imagine someone else playing his character, would be a difficult to pull it off. But as you said, thanks to the script, we can't fully connect to him.
Bold: Same. I felt the same. Specially during the Seerat torture track. He said we are being tortured as well. He looked miffed to me. Who wouldn't be! His character has not seen growth at all...
