I agree. To be honest. I don’t see VJ giving the same energy as he did before. All his IV’s recently have been quite mellow. It’s like he’s saying what he has to say, not really feeling it. He’s not the type to quit a show otherwise he would have left by now.

His job is to convince us of Angad’s emotions and he’s doing that brilliantly. But the issue of not connecting to his emotions is the flaw in the script.

Today though I hated his decision, I felt bad when I saw his grief. And I'll give the entire credit to VJ alone. Imagine someone else playing his character, would be a difficult to pull it off. But as you said, thanks to the script, we can't fully connect to him.

Bold: Same. I felt the same. Specially during the Seerat torture track. He said we are being tortured as well. He looked miffed to me. Who wouldn't be! His character has not seen growth at all...

As I said before if the character arc was good till now then this separation track would be perfect and the fact that Angad kicks her out would be great. But here it’s so inconsistent and rushed.

And with regards to cashing it in, we will know more when trp comes how much they have cashed in or ‘cashed out’

Angad telling her to leave was the best solution for both of them. Only thing it came from his mouth. He said that her existence will remind him of his father death. Which is true He loved his baby also. Everyone is talking abt his love but what abt Sahiba did she ever care for his words or promises. They would need long time to heal from this pain. It won’t go in some days or months. Both Angad and Sahiba took some decisions without caring for each other that does not mean they don’t love eo.

Yup I agree. Partly what I said too. If they had copied this story/track with Angad who had never demeaned sahiba or never insulted her unnecessarily in that last I can accept this grief. But here Angad is not the same as they want him to be for this track. It’s not acceptable for him to behave like this after all that Sahan have been through to get to where they are now. The makers are just copy pasting blindly.

See if we try to weigh both sides we can accept that the slap was also unintentional. But it’s the inconsistency this character has with punishing people. Those that have intentionally done things to harm his family and sahiba. He lets them go easy. And with sahiba every unintentional deed is deemed as a crime against humanity. There’s always an extreme ultimatum.

There was so much potential for this character from initial episodes. They killed it with crappy writing. It’s always too brash, extreme and inconsistent. The makers don’t know how to write Angad character at all. They really don’t know what to do with him anymore.

Yes. If he had given her grace even once, I would still think of excusing. Every single time he punishes her , starting from Seerats betrayal to today. And the intensity is never the same with his blood family or Seerat.

He can ask her to hide what his mom did from family and mislead police. He found out the crimes his brother did in cold blood, he arranged for rehab with a cool mind. Not once did he say get out of my house or I chose to cut you off when those were cold blooded crimes. Not once did he accept that he was wrong for not believing her words about Veer, he kept explaining why he slapped.

He did not question his Daarji Bebe when they chose to keep Garry in house, harassed her endlessly for it, when he decided to keep Garry in house and consequence was Daarji in jail, he punished Sahiba for it but never accepted his mistake.

There is just no scope for his character anymore.

Angad ousting Sahiba is definitely good for her. It is clear she will live a life of solace till he arrives as a storm again. However he did not say it because he wants her well being. He said it because he doesn't care a bit about her.

Honestly after all this heart break 💔 I just want the leap to hurry up and come. Let’s just get it over with.
