I found tere bin cringe pro max from the teasers and those scenes with bg music playing after every second just holds no impact. I personally have never connected or found any of these ott geo dramas pairings worth investing my time. Ary is better as it most of the times doesn't go overboard with the ottness.

Those OTT dramas get higher ratings that’s why we see so much of them.

sadly such dramas will only limit the audience to desi audience only.

non-ott shows are as much available as ott shows on youtube but it's not like non-ott shows are attracting these "phoren" audiences either. even when the likes of humsafar and zgh were on netflix for years, they never managed to breakthrough like some other foreign-language shows did.

humsafar and zgh didn't have those kind of budget which other foreign-language shows had. Problem is only dramas with crappy storylines and no character arcs have big budget. We should have taken a step forward in story telling from humsafar.zgh and yks but we are going backwards.

Lets see how they'll execute JBHSSL but I really wished they had picked some other novel for netflix. Nemrah Ahmed writes novel which are perfect for netflix but she never let her novels dramatized.
