Episode 11: Satyanarayan Pooja for Savi & Ishaan
Ishaan and Savi entered the Bhosle house with her bags. Surekha and Nishkant, who were sitting on the sofa, looked at them with unwelcoming expressions. Ishaan called a servant and asked them to take the luggage to his room. He then instructed Savi to retire to her room as he wanted to have a word with Rao Saheb regarding some college-related matters.
After conversing with Rao Saheb, Ishaan entered his room and found Savi sitting blankly in front of her luggage. He asked her, “Were you waiting for me to help you unpack? Let me tell you, I am very bad at it.”
Savi replied, “I am not sure where I should keep my belongings. Is it fine if I keep my bags in the corner so they won't bother you on a daily basis?”
Ishaan responded, “Are you mad? Can't you see these wardrobes? Wait.” He started arranging a place for her, moving all his suits from the right-hand side cupboard to the left-hand side cupboard. He gestured towards her and showed her the empty space. Savi smiled, and together they arranged her wardrobe.
It was a Saturday morning at the Bhosle house when Surekha knocked on the door of Ishaan’s room. Savi opened the door, and they exchanged looks. Surekha scanned through her wet hair, trying to understand if there was ‘anything’ between Ishaan and Savi.
Savi greeted, “Good morning, Akka Saheb. I was about to come downstairs, and Ishaan sir is in the washroom, getting ready for the day.”
Surekha responded without any expression, “I am not here to hear your routine. Tell Ishaan that today both of you are not going to any college. We have a small pooja of Satyanarayan at our house in the evening, and tomorrow night, we have arranged a reception.”
Savi becomes angry at her behavior and makes a face behind her back. As soon as Ishaan comes out of the washroom, he goes near the mirror and adjusts his hair. Savi informs him about Akkasaheb’s message with an unwelcome expression. He understands her annoyance and places his hands on her shoulders.
"See Savi, I know how difficult and uncomfortable all of this is for you. But believe me, let’s do it. Not as husband and wife, but as friends. After all, it's a Satyanarayan pooja, not a Karwachauth vrat," he says, smiling at her.
Savi agrees, showing no expression because she wasn't entirely ready for it. Anvi enters the room with a packet of saree and shirngar, handing it over to Savi.
"This is for you to wear at today’s Pooja," she says before leaving the room. Savi and Ishaan stand opposite each other, looking at those items with uncertain faces.
After a few minutes of silence, Ishaan jokes, “I hope you can wear the saree and fix the plates. Don't repeat the mistake you made in Ramtek.” Savi retorts, “Don't worry sir, this is Savi Chavan, ekdum kadak. My plates will be perfect without any creases or slips.”
IshVi get ready and come down for the pooja. There were very few guests, only close ones were invited. Because a huge chunk of people were expected to attend the reception.
Panditji ties dhaga on both hands and asks them to sit on the Aasana.
As the Satyanarayan pooja commenced, the atmosphere in the room shifted. The scent of incense wafted through the air, mingling with the sound of prayers chanting softly.
Savi and Ishaan exchanged glances, their faces reflecting a mixture of reverence and discomfort. They fumbled through the rituals, occasionally stealing nervous looks at each other when they made mistakes.
Despite their best efforts to maintain composure, moments of awkwardness lingered in the air.
Amidst the flickering flames of the diyas and the gentle strains of the prayers, Savi and Ishaan found themselves drawn into the solemnity of the occasion, their initial discomfort gradually giving way to a sense of unity as they joined the rest of the family in seeking blessings for a prosperous future as per Panditiji’s guidance.
However, the real test was on the way - a night of reception.

Episode 10: Ishaan, Savi & Hairpin-mance
Rao Saheb appreciates Nishikant and begins discussing matters related to their upcoming medical college, pondering which tasks they can assign to Ishaan to keep him busiest.
He directs Surekha to start preparations for the reception. Surekha prepares a list of guests and shares it among Asmita, Shikha, Durva, and Anvi to send out invitations.
Additionally, an event planner is called to set up the stage and finalize the theme. In the evening, a designer is expected to conduct a test drive of clothes for the newlywed couple.
The day is bustling at Bhosle House, and it's already 5 PM on the clock.

At Bhosle Institute, as the day wraps up, Ishaan's eyes search for Savi so they can head home together on time.
He calls Shuklaji and asks if the final year class has been dismissed and where the students are.
Shukljai informs him that their last class was canceled and everyone would have left the premises by now.
Ishaan becomes tense. He looks at Shuklaji, wanting to ask about Savi, but he can't bring himself to.
Sensing his unease, Shuklaji says, "Sir, Madam, Chauhan, Savi Madam…"
Ishaan cuts him off, "She is still a Chuhan to you, please continue."
Shuklaji replies, "She has gone to her hostel room to pack her belongings."
Ishaan breathes a sigh of relief and says, "Thank you, Shuklaji. Please take my bag and laptop and put them in my car. Here are the keys." He hands over the keys and rushes to the ladies' hostel room.
Ishaan almost runs in the corridor and reaches the door of room no 14! He breathes sigh on seeing it locked from inside and not outside, that she is still inside.
He knocks it.
Savi replies, “Kajal or Navya, whosoever it is, please come in. I am almost done with packing, help me with my bags so I can trolley down them till the auto stand”
Ishaan hears and opens the door, enters the room and slides back the door, since it is ladies hostel and no one should see him here.
Savi was checking her charger, phone, Ganpati idol, and her hair flicks for one last time.
Before anyone could say anything, she announced that all bags were ready, and the room was almost clear.
She added that her handbag was also prepared. 'Please wait for a min, let me tie up my hair,' she said, 'so these flicks dont bother me in the auto.'.
She takes out hair pins and goes in front of mirror. She combs her flicks and tries to put pin on the left side flicks. Her sling was making her comfortable in tying her hair.
She tries again and takes a step back.
As her reflection in the mirror becomes clearer, she spots Ishaan sir. With wide eyes, she turns back in a fraction of a second. "Sir, you're here? How come?" she asks.
Ishaan responds, "Just to help you with the bags."
Savi replies, "Okay, it feels strange to me, but since you're here, wait until I tie my hair, then we can leave."
Ishaan notices her unsuccessful attempts and says, "We're going in the car anyway, so you can leave your hair open." Unintentionally, he adds, "It suits you."
Feeling awkward, Savi insists, "I want to tie it for now."
Ishaan: "Neither will you listen nor will you ask for help. Wait, let me help you."
He comes closer to her, takes the pin from her hands, examines it up and down, and asks, "How should I open it?"
Savi signals him by rotating her eyes, and Ishaan nods as if he instantly learned.
He opens the pin with his right hand and grasps her hair flicks with his left hand.
He looks at her hair and attempts to put the pin in place.
Savi sneezes suddenly, causing Ishaan to lose his grip on her hair and drop the pin.
The pin awkwardly falls onto Savi's top and becomes lodged in her cleavage.
Ishaan notices it, and Savi catches his gaze.
Savi rolls her eyes with irritation, while Ishaan raises both hands defensively, saying, 'I haven't done anything!'"
Before anyone could think of taking the pin out, they as usually get into argument.
Ishaan chuckles nervously. "Oops, looks like even the pin couldn't handle your sneeze!"
Savi giggles: "Oh, blame it on my sneeze, why don't you?"
Ishaan replies "Hey, I'm innocent until proven guilty!"
And they keep continuing their banters without realising the time in the clock and the pin on her cleavage.
And the awkwardness lingers as Ishaan attempts to end the matter by suddenly taking out the pin from its awkward position.
Savi feels a tingling sensation and goosebumps spread across her entire body at his unexpected touch.
Ishaan senses the impact of his actions, and both quickly look away from each other, their cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Episode 12: IshVi Lost in the Thoughts of Motherly Love
IshVi completes all the pooja rituals and seeks the blessings of the elders. However, nobody willingly blesses them; it's all for show. Except for Asmita and Shikha, everyone wears fake smiles and offers insincere wishes.
Asmita leads Savi into the kitchen and feeds her prasad with her hands. "Savi, your grah pravesh and post-wedding rituals weren't conducted as they should have been, but I have accepted you wholeheartedly. You are like my third daughter." She takes off her finger ring and places it on Savi's hand. "I don't have anything to give you right now, but please accept this as a token of my love."
For the first time in a long while, Savi feels a motherly warmth and hugs Asmita. At that moment, she is briefly reminded of her mother, Aai Sai.
As Savi embraced Asmita, a flood of memories washed over her. She couldn't help but recall a tender moment with Aai Sai, her mother, who had always been her pillar of strength. Aai Sai's voice echoed in her mind, gentle and reassuring, urging her to be patient and resilient in the face of adversity. Savi drew comfort from this memory, finding solace in the wisdom imparted by her beloved mother.
"Thank you, Aunty," Savi whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "You have no idea how much this means to me."
Asmita smiled warmly, her eyes reflecting genuine affection. "You are family now, Savi. And family takes care of each other."
With a final pat on Savi's shoulder, Asmita gently ushered her towards the bedroom. "Now go and try on the lehenga. Let's make sure everything is perfect for the reception."
Savi smiles back and leaves the kitchen.
As there was no college for the day, she sat in her room and started reading. She was not at all interested in trying out lehenga or checking on matching accessories.
In between, she makes a video call and checks on her Tai, wishing her a speedy recovery.
Ishaan, on the other hand, considering this reception as a formality, did not bother about it and gave Savi the space she needed. He spent the rest of the day in the paperwork for their upcoming medical college. Meanwhile, Ishaan's mind raced with thoughts of the funds needed for upcoming medical college. Despite his attempts to focus on the task at hand, his mind kept drifting back to the enigmatic figures in the financial reports.
Something didn't add up, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it. As he sifted through the paperwork, a nagging sense of unease gnawed at him.
Could there be discrepancies that he had overlooked? Or was there something more sinister at play?
He thought of checking the audit reports once again. He took out the file and his eyes got stuck on the signature, “Signed and Approved by Dr Isha Bhosle”
The scene flashed before his eyes as he was about to hug her Aai on the stage, and he had received a call about Akkasaheb’s heart attack.
For the first time, he confessed to himself that more than her Aai, it was him who craved that warm hug. Tears welled up in the corners of his eyes as he pondered why he was born unlucky to stay away from his mom for years on end.
He became lost in thoughts of how his Aai Baba would react to the news of their wedding.
His heart raced as he realized that today they would have boarded their return flight!
The clock ticks 10 PM! And it was about time to sleep.

Episode 13: IshVi Getting Ready for their Reception
Sunday afternoon at Bhosle Mansion
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the bustling city, Ishaan and Savi found themselves in their elegantly adorned room, preparing for their reception.
Savi had put on a white flurry gown with a deep neck on the front and back, packed with delicate diamond jewelry.
Ishaan was decked up in a navy blue suit, well complementing Savi's costumes, they were looking no lesser than a romantic couple Romeo and Juliet.
Savi's fingers trembled slightly as she adjusted the delicate lace of her gown, stealing glances at Ishaan as he meticulously straightened his tie and struggled to fix the broach.
Their eyes met in the reflection of the mirror, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Savi looked totally different to Ishaan today. His eyes made her more beautiful. She realised that she was attractive to her husband.
The air between them crackled with unspoken emotion as they moved closer, drawn together by an invisible force.
Savi breaks the silence, "Sir, let me help you fix the broach."
Ishan was still stealing her beauty with his eyes and without looking away from her hands over her broach.
She says, "Sir look at your height & mine, do you think I can fix it in a standing position."
Ishaan gets his senses back and says, "Well, let me sit on the bed, it would be easy for you."
He sits on the bed and Savi stands near him to put the broach, the cloth of the suit was thick so she needed to put extra pressure on the pin, she moves closer to check that the point should not pinch him.
She moves little more closer. And, realizes that she is almost standing in-between two legs of him. Embarrassed enough of that position, she quickly puts it on and turns back.
Savi's heart raced as she stood inches away from Ishaan, her breath catching in her throat as she felt the warmth of his presence enveloping her. She could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, mirroring her own erratic pulse, and for a moment, she forgot everything else but the electricity coursing between them.
Neither of them dared to speak, the weight of their unspoken emotions were hanging heavy in the air.

Episode 14: A Night of Reception
Hand in hand, Ishaan & Savi descended the staircase, their hearts pounding in unison with the rhythm of the music.
The soft glow of the spotlight seemed to illuminate them, casting a radiant aura around the couple.
As they reached the stage, Rao Saheb and Surekha joined them, standing proudly by their side.
Rao Saheb took hold of the microphone, his voice resonating through the hall as he introduced Savi as the newest addition to their family, Mrs. Savi Ishaan Bhosle.
The room erupted into applause, a mixture of excitement and curiosity filling the air.
However, amidst the applause, murmurs rippled through the crowd, a mix of disbelief and skepticism tainting the joyous atmosphere.
Some guests couldn't help but voice their doubts, questioning the unconventional nature of Ishaan and Savi's relationship.
"Isn't she the student? How can a professor and a student have a love marriage?" whispered one guest, casting judgmental glances at the couple.
But amidst the whispers of doubt, some embraced the couple's love story with open arms. They saw beyond the surface, recognizing the depth of connection shared between Ishaan and Savi.
"Good to see the Bhosle's youngest daughter-in-law pursuing her career," murmured another guest, a hint of admiration in their voice. "She looks perfect for Ishaan. Perhaps he'll finally find the TRUE LOVE he's been missing for two decades."
As the conflicting voices swirled around them, Ishaan and Savi stood unfazed, their eyes locked on each other, drawing strength from the unwavering bond they shared.
Meanwhile, the reception continued to unfold, reaching its peak as the towering wedding cake was brought onto the stage, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in Ishaan and Savi's journey together.
The couple cuts the cake and feeds each other and the family members.
With the cake cut and shared among family members, the atmosphere in the room buzzed with joy and laughter. Guests lined up to offer their congratulations and blessings to the newlyweds, their smiles reflecting the warmth of the occasion.
As the Education Ministers, Bhosle Institute staff, and friends and family members took turns greeting the couple on stage, the excitement in the room reached its peak.
Suddenly, Prateek, known for his spontaneity, seized the opportunity to add an unexpected twist to the festivities. Taking hold of the microphone, he announced with a mischievous grin, "Aaj mere yaar ki shaadi ki party hai, dance toh banta hai!"
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, urging Ishaan and Savi to grace the dance floor with their presence. But the couple hesitated, exchanging a glance filled with uncertainty.
Undeterred, Prateek and Anvi, their closest ones, took matters into their own hands. With playful insistence, they grabbed hold of Ishaan and Savi's arms, pulling them gently but firmly towards the dance floor.
Prateek, now fully in charge, commanded the orchestra to play the most beautiful couple song. Anvi, her eyes sparkling with mischief, turned to Savi, pleading with her to join Ishaan for a dance.
Savi hesitated for a moment, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but Anvi's infectious enthusiasm was hard to resist. With a shy smile, she finally relented, allowing herself to be led onto the dance floor by Ishaan's outstretched hand.
And as the music began to play, enveloping them in its enchanting melody, Ishaan and Savi found themselves lost in the magic of the moment, their hearts beating as one as they danced together for the first time as husband and wife.
The song plays:
Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye, Jab Koi Mushkil Pad Jaaye, Tum Dena Saath Mera, O Humnawaaz
Ishaan & Savi, with hands clasped tightly together, took their first step onto the dance floor, the lyrics of the song evoking memories and flashbacks that tugged at their hearts.
Naa Koi Hai Na Koi Tha Zindage Mein Tumhaare Siva, Tum Dena Saath Mera, O Humnawaaz
The lyrics bring Savi’s flashbacks, how her Badi ajji used to beat her and how she was all alone despite a family & how Ishaan helped her in Ramtek and consoled her.
Ho Chaandni Jab Tak, Raat Deta Hai Har Koi Saath, Tum Magar Andheron Mein, Na Chhodna Mera Haath
Ishaan gets flashes of how Savi attempted for him and Isha to come closer through the fest performance, how she helped him find the missing Isha mam.
Wafadaari Ki Vo Rasmein, Nibhayenge Hum Tum Kasmein, Ek Bhi Saans Zindagi Ki, Jab Tak Ho Apne Bas Mein
Both remember their wedding and how it was rushed yet planned by God, how Ishaan saved Savi in the jungle, and how he brought her to his home. Ishaan remembers the soft moments spent with Savi in the last few days.
Dil Ko Mere Hua Yakeen, Hum Pehle Bhi Mile Kahin, Silsila Ye Sadiyon Ka, Koi Aaj Ki Baat Nahin
Both remember the initial days of their interactions; how they had slipped on the wet floor during the Ganesh festival, got locked in a hostel room, how she was saved from goons with a fight dance, and how he had helped her untangle light series! Those moments were not just accidental meets,well-planned divine interventions providing hints of them going to be together forever!
With each step, they wove their past into their present, their movements reflecting the depth of their love and commitment to each other.
And as the song reached its crescendo, they found themselves standing face to face, their hearts beating as one.
The lights flickered on, illuminating the room as applause filled the air. Ishaan and Savi stood together, their arms wrapped around each other, his hands on her waist and her hands on his chest, a silent acknowledgment of the journey they had undertaken and the unspoken connection that bound them together.
