I dislike Vidya but Vidya 's love for her children is not conditional. She obviously loves Rohit more than Armaan but she genuinely loves armaan also. She was deceived by her in-laws.
Just imagine if a girl gets married to a household, arranged marriage, and then after marriage she comes to know her husband had a wife who died during childbirth. Nobody told Vidya before marriage that her husband has a 3-4 year old child already! When the child first entered the house, nobody wanted to accept armaan but Vidya hugged the toddler and gave him her love despite being cheated by the family.
I have plenty of issues with Vidya for how she is a people pleaser of dadisa and wants to be in her good books always, also for how she treats abhira is very conditional , sometimes good & sometimes bad, but i will never hold a grudge against her for Armaan . Just because she loves her own son Rohit more, doesn't mean she doesn't love armaan

That zipper scene reminded me of fake dupatta scenes where FLs go crazy when that thin piece of cloth gets detached from their necks 😭😭😭😭 It anyway doesn't hide anything , so why do drama over it? 😹😹 She wore backless blouses so many times and Armaan kinda touched her back also lol.
But i feel the significance of this scene was different. Earlier they were platonic friends who would have zipped each other up. Now the proximity and him zipping her up kinda affects her lol.
I am sorry but how is this even relevant with regards to today's episode? When he reverts to being a jerk tomorrow, bash him all you want. But why berate him for a future possibility of him f*cking up when he hasn't even done anything till now?
About male ego, Armaan is the least egoistic ML I have ever seen. You all probably want some one who blindly follows the FL when she is wrong? Abhira wants to fight a case for the poor against his dadisa with half baked evidences and truth. He WILL BE PISSED. Why should he blindly support her in her endeavors when he is right? He knows Dadisa isn't a culprit and he doesn't want Abhira to fight a case against Dadisa for the same reason coz he knows he will win it with the proofs he has. If anyone got swayed with ego, it was Abhira when she accepted Dadisas challenge of letting go of her dream for this case.
Lastly, it makes sense why he gets a kick out of Ruhi. Coz he is spineless and everyone kinda makes him believe that no matter what he will be an outsider. Ruhi acts like his doormat. A person who has so low self esteem will always get a kick out of a person who hypes him and follows him around. If Armaan was an alpha male with no f*cks given attitude, he wouldn't have entertained Ruhi ever coz she is just a side chick with doormat tendencies. But him being a pushover himself, he likes when someone listens to HIM FOR ONCE. Abhira challenges him and might make him a better person overall. But she doesn't massage his ego like Ruhi does.

I def don't mean or rather want a mo blindly following fl. In reality...even I would trust believe and fight for my family and would hate it if my family is only against me...so that is def not the question here...am just talking about,arman and run"a China love and his flipping attitude towards abhira and my view of his actions..though I def hate his behaviour..

@bold in total agreement with you on this part. I said the same thing in another post. Armaan lacks self-esteem and self-worth. Ruhi makes him feel ten feet tall by playing the perfect damsel in distress and making him feel like her knight in shining armour. For a change, here is someone who obsesses over him and makes him feel wanted as opposed to being largely seen as the family’s handyman who is needed by everyone to do their tasks but not really wanted by anyone for the person he is. The attraction between Armaan and Ruhi is obvious. Ruhi needs a crutch and Armaan is thrilled that someone actually sees him worthy of being a crutch. Abhira is never going to be the woman who will make him feel ten feet tall. She doesn’t need him to stand guard over her, she’s fiercely independent. She will not be the damsel in distress and make him feel like a knight in shining armour. On the contrary she could well be the knight that can save damsel in distress Armaan. She is not perfect but she is spirited. She will show Armaan the mirror every time . Instead of making him feel ten feet tall, she will actually make him evolve into a confident and a better person overall. He has himself admitted to that today in his dialogue with Sanjay. Being soft is nice but being a pushover isn’t. I think he is beginning to get that. If Armaan becomes what he can be, Ruhi will never hold his attention. Because she is a weak, shallow person who constantly needs attention, much like a hothouse flower. Armaan needs to decide if he will go the steroid route to appear strong and muscular or if he wants to put in the hard effort to grow not just muscle but a spine too! What Ruhi offers him is a place in her world of delusions and what Abhira offers is hard reality. Some people are better off living in a bubble because they lack the strength of character to stand up to the truth. Wonder if the writers will make Armaan remain a stunted character or if they will set him free and let him grow.
