SC makes some really sickening decisions.
I am a law student but I always say.
Most problematic people and system are our Judges specially Supreme Court Judges.

They are undemocratically elected. And they have the most egos.
The case of Dattatraya v. State of Maharashtra? If yes, "Supreme court supports husband who burnt pregnant wife alive" is too sensational a headline!
They ruled that it's culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Maybe the prosecution was weak and the defense was strong. Maybe they couldn't prove the "intent to kill".
I don't agree with these judgments but these courts are still our our best bet to get justice. Of course, most of us would want to see this person sentenced to death! Too bad, he is only going to serve (or has served?) 10 years in jail.
