TPS is not romcom. i attended a space on X by someone who saw 3 episodes at the festival screening.

TPS is a story about Sajal's journey to get her messy life together. The main plot is Sajal and her relationship with her (ex?) mother in law. There is a secondary romance subplot with Wahaj. It wasn't even clear whether Wahaj and Sajal cktrs would be endgame.

The original title of TPS was Saas Bahu so that should tell you what the story focus is.

When wahaj shot for TPS he was still a B-/C-lister. Bilal's been an A-lister for long. No way would he have done a side role.

Sajal and bilal needs to do a rom com pronto. I think they were approached for hum tum last year but then ahad and ramsha did it. I am wliiing to bet that it was bilal who got them to cast ramsha. Too bad it backfired on him.

I have only seen reels of Haroon Kadwani’s dramas but his voice is so weird. Daddy really is pushing for him, but idk- nothing about him feels captivating
