My 2 cents on the triangle (not so anymore) & everything else..

There are 2 kinds of possibilities in ITV.. Either show a slow burn (via angst/ enemies to lovers/ friends to lovers/ other kinda hurdles in the main love story & what not), get the leads married after much much time and then show them, against the world in varying situations .. (Gen 2)

OR

Show a good build up of the love story, get the leads married (not so much slow burn) and introduce angst, MUs, separations, and everything in between (Gen 3)

Gen 1 was more like 1st situation.. they had a slow built at first, the marriage was delayed to an extent, and even after they got into arrange marriage setup, they took a while to start loving each other..

Coming to Gen 4, I feel the creatives wanted to go back to Gen 1 and Gen 2 kinda slow burn situation.. But what could have been the reason for angst.. Hence they well utilized the situation of Akshara being a single mother, raising a sherni (much like her naani Naira).. Today's episode was a proof of how well they have sketched the character arc of Abhira being a lone warrior and a strong FL...

Now about Armaan, yes he is always pulled in all directions, and yes, he might have had made some rash decisions.. Oh Yes! He definitely did!! But this is ITV, conflicts nai dikhaenge, toh itna epsidoes and series kaise kheechenge.. (aise hi na thodi this is one of the longest show)..

Armaan is sincere in his dedication towards fulfilling the vaada to his erstwhile Guru aka. Akshara.. As he said, he shall care for Abhira's health and overall well-being..

Now whether he is wrong, and is his intentions are wrong towards the one who cannot be named.. Ummm.. I dont really think so.. Haan matlab, 3-4 baar direct bolne pe bhi, if she doesn't get it, and is being delusional.. Aur ladka kya kare.. Jaan dede?

I have seen the same template of devar-bhabhi and jeth-bhabhi in many other shows, and unfortunately the bar is so low.. but kya kare.. "jo bikta hai, wo hi dikhta hai".. But unlike other shows, seeing the legacy of RS, I do believe and hope that they won't make a mockery of all rishtas in the end.. Aakhir they have been selling so many good relationships over the year, don't think they will degrade it now..
