thats pretty much it..I cant connect with her as a university going girl..she is trying with her mannerisms..but IDK....I love her and Kabir's scenes though..tbf, Kabir makes her character look better..because he is always giving her credit for everything
Raju crying with Teddie-pa..that dont give me so much izzat
sweetttt.
Johri is really good..who is this actor..he is so effortless..in that scene where he is singing excitedly because of upcoming Rap battle..was so real..??
Kashif Nisaar strikes again..never really disappoints with how natural and nice his dramas are
Ya.. it's not that zara don't fit as a college going girl, she don't fit as a spunky college going free spirited type of girl.
Zara is very likable when she is with Kabir and I was feeling the embarrassment when Kabir proposed to zara in front of her maamu without knowing that's her maamu
. Also that hostel scene
It's pretty bold of them to show zara spending time with Kabir at his home and him showing her where the keys are so that she can enter his room whenever she wants. Can't remember any other pak dramas which shows a girl visiting a guy at his house where he stays alone so casually.
Fazal baksh as a character is ott only. Characters that are supposed to be ott, cannot be acted in a subtle way. Shahmeer is much more subtle and calm as a character so bilal is more subtle and natural as shahmeer.
That being said Waseem Abbasi was very respectful and didn't say it in a mocking or degrading way. It don't look like he has seen the drama from the start and only saw the episodes he is supposed to review.
Diva put a comment out of context and this will only bring unnecessary hate towards a senior actor. People under the comments are already degrading him way too much.
I found it demeaning.
I watched the full review & towards the end when 56% of audience votes went to Bilal they were disappointed. Rubina Ashraf even said that he knows people love him & he just has to come on screen without putting any effort.

way to disregard Azaan, heās a talented singer and performer in his own right .. and he isnāt the first singer to try acting ..
also he was fine in Ishq e Laa.. I liked his voice modulations and for the role he did fine ..specially for his first ever acting gig ..
Being a fine singer is not same as being a fine actor. If Adele is cast in a Martin Scorcese film and bags a David Fincher script, I will say the same.
Azaan needs to improve as an actor. He didn't measure up to Sajal and Yumna in Ishq e Laa in my opinion. We can agree to disagree.

I didn't watch the full review. Only the part where Waseem Abbasi talks about the drama. Someone on reddit posted it. He rightfully called out farooq rind and said the writing was weak.
I didn't know they were so disappointed with bilal getting more scores. Like the drama is a hit because of his portrayal of Fazal baksh and majority are watching it for him. So obviously he will get more score.
Waseem Abbas is Ali Abbas's father who happens to be cousin of Ramsha šššš

I had seen the episode with Waseem Abbas. He was not disrespecting Bilal as an actor. He was talking of a specific episode and specific scene. He gave example of what he meant. It seemed he did not agree with Bilal's interpretation of the scene. You may agree or disagree with his take on the scene. But I did not see anything wrong with him having an opinion as he explained his reasoning.

The show has editing & direction issues but one person that has not disappointed is Bilal.
You go on rating Dure 7 or 8 and then rate Bilal 4 or 5, I'll find it demeaning.
