I think the point was the generalizations just like saying all desis eat with their hands by Americans since some do with biryanis vs using the spoon or roti( though it make no sense to use a utensil in that case) though some do with pizza it’s not like Americans don’t eat certain things with their hands like burgers or pizza.

Is there overreaction? Maybe

But it's so much fun when outsiders who know India only via BW chime in and scold Indians for feeling certain way
