I am not saying there wasn't. But the celebs don't get the intensity as much as they do now. Now people have a medium to directly message the actors and the actors can see what people are talking about them by opening social media accounts. Also the star value for newer stars depends highly on their social media image. To stay relevant they have to satisfy the fans. Was not the case for actors who became stars before the boom of social media.

Why do PTV glorify marital rapists? There is one serial Yaariyan starring Ayeza where her sister gets raped by her husband but they behave as if nothing happened and they get a happy ending with her being pregnant. Same thing happens in Bikhrey Moti where Neelam forgives and gets a happy ending with her rapist and wife beater husband

I don’t know but to see it so normalized this has to be an everyday thing these writers grew up with . People on Twitter were also talking about even if it isn’t shown as marital rape a lot of consummations in ptv isn’t doesn’t seem to be consensual

Strangely even the so called progressive actors/ actresses don't have a problem acting in these storylines. I remember only Sajal fighting with her director and having the ending of Gul e Rana changed.
