Chandragupta and daughter of Suluva

Daughter of Suluva, Yavana king of Paursa was Chandragupta's chief queen after death of Durdhara. Her father Suluva was probably a king of a small city or Nagar. She is often confused with Helena, daughter of Seleucus because Suluva and Seleucus sound very similar. Her mention is in Bhavishya Purana. She probably was Agramahishi after death of Durdhara.

As much as I came to know about Agramahisi Asandhimitra I deeply respect the lady and her qualities Thats why I would never like to see the fictional portrayal of her as an evil queen for the sake of entertainment. Karuwaki's character is open for creative liberty like Sushim's mom because next to nothing is known about her except that she was second wife and mother of Prince Tivala. In fact some scholars speculate she was Tisyarakshita and another batch of scholars say her residence was Kaushambi. No one says that she was from Kalinga. Absolutely no authentic source. If Ashok had married a princess of Kalinga, he would have mentioned it in his Inscription itself where he mentioned of his invasion on the region.

Also, no inscription from Kalinga too suggest such a marriage.

That legend is also made up, probably few years later after princep deciphered his inscriptions and Ashok became famous, no legit source calls her princess of Kalinga, she was called Devi so she definitely would have been from a prestigious family or was given prestige by Ashok (here it should be mentioned some historians consider Karu as Tisyarakshita). Not even Devi, the credit for Ashok's so called transition goes to Nigrodh/Samudra, Upagupta and Asandhimitra.

Having heard of Asandhimitra's hand in turning Ashoka towards Buddhism, I now might need some more info on how the @bold were also part of this transition.

The sources differ but Ashokvadana is a very important source for that

One of the theory also said that probably Asandhmitra is none other then mahadevi and mahadevi is not a name but a title because Devi is a title was used for every women to give them respect since she belong to a merchant class , a commoner so her origin were made doubtful in history, and she is the only wife who has many title like emperors have and I wish future may yadi koe es story ko crap kary to Devi lead role mai ho , I love Ashoka and Devi Jodi,they has such a good potential story to show on screen . And I am very upset with today's writter they have mostly detoriated the historical fact ,asoka movie sy kuch sikha liya hota history sy kilwad karny ka it was not well received by audience remarkable change karna tha na.

Made up fanfiction this is because Asandhimitra was Agramahishi and Agramahishi would stay with the Emperor himself, and it's written as well, Asandhimitra lived with Ashok for 30 years and when she died just to heal himself, Ashok fell for her maid Tisyarakshita. So No, Asandhimitra was Devi. Yes Mahadevi is a title given to Vidisha Mahadevi Shakya Kumari but it was to honour her , not because she was Asandhimitra. Asandhimitra was from Asandhivat not Vidisha.
