This is precisely the reason why one episode we feel this is Agastya and one episode we feel it is Surya, coz it really is like that. When the truth of the twins came out it was actually Agastya, today with the flashback, it was actually Surya, the laddu making was Agastya and being rude to Imlie for Malti is Surya. More like the plot of the move Deewane of Ajay and Urmila. I have been saying this theory from the start. Can the makers show this?

you know what this same exact thought came into my mind after they didn't show clean death of Agastya and surya having his own individual personality.

Check out our previous AT we had discussed this theory like they will use Agasthya for romantic scenes with Imlie and for family drama and investigation it will be surya the cop

If trps were favorable and there was no danger of going off air, this track could been executed smoothly.

We are online audience who analysis even minute details like behavior and body language of characters but trp audience nahi dekhti hai yeh sab. So don't know how will they will connect with such a complex track .

Sunaina, comparing Surya Imlie with Gods seems blasphemous to me. Arghhhh Hope they dont show any such thing in the show. Dekha nahi jayega

If that were the case, I don’t know how Agastya is allowing Imlie to get mistreated. This would require more than pitao-fying him. He’d have to sleep outside near the tree on the garden and I’d want Imlie to be mad at him if he were just letting her emotions getting toyed like that.

Hell, I’d want her to actually leave the Chaudhary’s and for Agastya to really manao her because that is cruel. But at this point, I’d hope for anything if that meant she’d have her Babu again. Who knows if by the end of this AT, they’ll paltao the story and give us hope. It feels wrong even wishing for it at this point because they like disappointing us. The one who is mistreating her is Surya and not Agastya. The one who is soft with her is Agastya. Haven't we seen both these situations since the time Surya entered.

See for Surya, his sister is the most important so he will be rude to Imlie. For Agastya, more than Malti, Imlie matters so he will try to support Imlie, be soft to her, give her the fighting courage whenever he can. He can't be overly supportive so as to blow his cover.

Is that why in the promo they show her feel he is Agastya and then say no he's Surya. Coz they are both taking turns.

If the makers are doing this, this is shitty mind games. So not tolerable.

That one flashback today killed my interest in this show. Can the writers and the PH not see that the core audience is leaving the show. No other show suffered this much drop in Reach. Why does SP want every show to have bigamy or Jeeja - Saali or Jeth/Devar - Bhabhi romances. Like seriously ?

I hate that from the beginning we were give assurances of a love that is so powerful and divine and now we are being asked to forget that love and accept the new pairing because - heck the leads are the same. Aise thodi hota hain.

At this point if the team is not going to get Agastya back then I am going to cut my losses and move on. I would rather take the Vishwa blackmail track over this pathetic twin brother - Bhabhi romance track.

I am genuinely happy that Sai got a good prime time slot and he did live the role of Agastya even with the horrible wig in the beginning episodes.

But this twist of Agastya dying and Surya - Imlie being the end game is not working out for me. Especially since now it is going to be again the same scenes of Agastya - Imlie that would be rehashed for Surya - Imlie. First misunderstandings and then Surya falling for the girl that Imlie is and finally Imlie too accepting him. Pathetic track.

Workplace stress + utterly confusing episodes were the reason why I thought I should take a break from the show. I've not watched the last 3 episodes or so as I Iacked time & interest. But since it's sunday, I've had a day off today. So, thought of watching today's episode early in the morning to see how much progress the show has made, hoping to catch some more hints. And, turns out this was the worst decision of my life. Like wow!

I don't have enough words to convey how I am feeling right now. But I've said it multiple times here that surya-imlie scenes have made me uncomfortable at times but then I used to shush my thoughts with new theories time & again. The reason I continued with the show was because I believed he's Agastya with/without memory loss, like all of you. And, today all that comes to an end! I've got to say some things before I officially take an exit from here.

-First things first. I don't know what future the show holds & how they are going to justify imlie falling in love again, maybe they will make her say dialogues like, "yeh sach hai ki august babu ne humka pyaar karna sikhaya, par pyaar nibhana..yeh tumne humka sikhaya rowdy reddy.. " (I'm cringing so hard rn). All these dialogues will mean nothing to mean. I will only remember & believe in what she said earlier, "yeh august babu ke chhoti ungli ke barabar bhi nahi hai". Literally.

-Agastya coming back looks like a dream right now. Sai in his latest IF interview said, agastya may come back someday. But I wish he doesn't. I so wish. The way they've been showing surlie scenes till now, him carrying her in his arms today, stepping closer to her with each passing episode, all of it is irredeemable. Like how will they ever show a sensible track with both twins falling in love with the same girl. And what will imlie do if she's already married to Surya by then? Also, there's no way we won't get BIL SIL romantic scenes. They're on the montage & are the leads for the time being. How are they to drive back once August returns?

-Also, it seems like we're the only humans left on earth who still yearn for Imlie-agastya's love story. Y'all can visit imlie 3 hashtag on TT & see new audience joining the show & rooting for imlie-surya. Old ones also seem to have moved on. Have no idea about IG response though. But With no negative response online, I am pretty sure they're going ahead with the new pair. Trps ka chodo, gul is really adamant when it comes to storyline. She doesn't give a flying f to what audience want.

I teared up today when imlie said, "sapne mein hi sahi tum aur hum saath hote hai", uff. The show has ended for me with the marriage episode. I'm going to rewatch their journey(even the wig era) & assume they had their happily ever after. I don't want to continue with the show & tarnish the memories of Agastya-imlie in my mind. I want to keep it all intact. August babu & imlie, you'll live in my heart forever!

Despite Imlie being present in the same car ,she didn't saw the face of the person whom Agastya saw before his accident. Only Agastya can reveal that .

reason behind gashes on Surya back which look like he hit the tree branches when he fall from the cliff and those headaches

Is there any way we can give feedback to the team ? Are they seriously thinking the audience is going to like this track ?

Hi Everyone..

So yesterday, I said I am taking a break, but seeing all your posts, raha nai gaya..

Hear me out..

The sole reason we are all so disgruntled is coz they showed flashbacks of Surya's childhood, which has cemented the fact that he is a different person.. Fair enough.

Now as a coping mechanism, to have our own mental peace, here's my observations:

1. Still believe, that Surya is Auggy is a twisted way.. Obviously the fake tan got away in the rain, and hence Imlie faltered in assuming that he is Auggy.. But on a serious note, you all remember, how we analyzed their first meeting, and Shreya pointed out that Surya didn't let Imlie touch his face and twisted her arm, so she couldn't recognize him.. While today, in her delirious sleep, she did touch his face, and said Akhrot Ka Chilka..

Toh 2 min ke liye wo flashback bhul jao, maanlo that a dying Surya told Auggy his bachpan ki yaadein, and hence Auggy had a hallucination, but he is the real deal...

But you know what I have realized! Everyday trying to analyze these scenes and making ourselves fake believe, is actually the real reason of all our collective heartbreaks.. Hence let's put a break on this for sometime, and I propose another alternative.

2. Let's give the show sometime for next few days for Sai & Adrija's sake.. They are brilliant in whatever they are doing.. Like me, If you all need some closure on Auggy's character arc or at least some redemption, maybe rewatch some of their scenes.. I personally binged all their scenes from starting till their marriage in the mandir, and now I am in a way better headspace..

Coming onto the progression of the story.. Very frankly, the makers are keeping it open at this point.. Baad me Auggy and Surya ko ek hi bata bhi sakte hai, and flashbacks ko bhi justify kar sakte hai.. Even Sai said in his interview that August might come back..

I was also going thru Reddit reviews of Imlie 3.. and whoever has liked the show so far, is cos of no negativity, infidelity, and also retro vibes and village setup..

In Summary : Would like to Quote Chabili (Imlie's quirky avatar):

Gul actually get enraged with online feedbacks. She deliberately ruins the story further in her ego. Imlie S2 and Imlie S3 to some extent ran smoothly with coherent story because it didn't had any big fd to annoy her in her instagram comment section

Imlie season 1 arylie had big fd and she openly took pangas with them ,challenging them

You have perfectly summed my emotions too. I feel so damn cheated..I was promised a love story between Agastya and Imlie. They had a beautiful love story only to be cut short. He died leaving her a widow in 30 mins of their wedding, with a fake wife who the world believes to be his real wife, having spent a night with her in the room, the world thinks it's his child, He left her with a promise to take care of his family who he very well knew hate her and he was not able to clear the misunderstanding. Meera never got the respect as his mother, Imlie never got a happy marriage or happy family.

I want to cut my losses too but I feel they will show him to be Agastya eventually. Itna bewakoofi nahi karenge. This Surya track is not working evidently.

If they do clearly show that this is Surya and not Agastya, I will no longer watch the show as well. Aaj I want to believe there will be some illogical reason for the flashback.

I know we were around 6 odd people when the show started and now we are more than 20 members. Sai was able to do so well in the show that we all fell in love with Agastya. He was not an easy character to love but he had some endearing qualities. I don't want him to go.

Sunaina, the makers have a good 2 months to run the show. Why can't they show this track (he is Agastya) and end the show properly. They will not get time to establish Surya Imlie love story in the next 2 months. She is insanely in love with Agastya and he is a lousy character for now. They clicked only till the time we believed he was Agastya, otherwise he doesn't click.
