I mean they used it figuratively. Not a time leap. The sentence is show takes leap in direction of Sahan centred storyline. Now the right question is at what point it was not Sahan centred but they are not talking of leap in traditional sense, just leap in terms of direction of storyline.

Whenever there is a hut and fl changing clothes of ML there is always cozy sequence you take any show. If not consummation then there will be some cozy scenes definitely.
