Imagine Ranbir playing Sam Bahudar. One of India's most prized heroes would have turned into an overgrown military man child!

I remember how ranbir and sonam fans was saying saawariya will be iconic film 10 years from now lol it's still boring trash film, felt asleep every time tried to watch it for few minutes only saw it. worst and flop film of slb. there were so many ranbir fans defending the film but why nobody showed up to the theatre because the theatres was empty lol
vicky and rs are not outsiders, they are privileged, of course they are not as privileged like ranbir kapoor or janhvi kapoor who even if delivered flops will get big directors and producers to sign them.
But the fact that rajkummar rao's films was offered to vicky first and after vicky turns it down raj accepted like stree, thank god for vicky turning that role. I am not a fan of vicky, don't want to watch his films so glad Raj got the film. I only saw lust stories from vicky.

Kaushal has a moment of self-reflection. He’s specifically proud of Sam Bahadur. Now it may look like a simple performance on paper, given that we’ve seen Kaushal play an army person in Uri before, but with Sam, the burden of honouring a legacy was real. He says while the higher-ups in the army were happy that he was playing the part, they also dropped in a word of caution.
“They told me quite clearly that he’s our best man so you have to be careful in how you depict him. Don’t mess it up.” The fact that his mannerisms, his tone, his body language had to be based on someone already well-documented had its perks and perils. “It was a fence,” Kaushal admits, pointing out the limitation that it put on his performance. “But I saw it as a discipline. I honed myself to match the icon and the end result was very satisfying and
Ranbir would have played another version of man child, and would have embaressed the army he is a very limited actor.
