btw...i love Vicky and RS the actors. Vicky exceptional when pitted against Shah and RK/Dunki and Sanju, equally as good as them, but he needs to get solid openings for his movies, alone!

RS was superb in RARKPK...the performance which i enjoyed more than Shah's Dunki, Jawaan and Pathaan and Vicky's Sam bahadur, hell i even loved it more than Vikrant Massys, .there i said it!! now kill me, especially shah fans.. go ahead.

BUT ANIMAL WAS ON ANOTHER LEVEL...FORGET ABOUT BOX OFFICE RUN....THE ACTOR RK IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL.

Superstar Ji got a privileged launch simply because his name was a Kapoor. Vicky had to work his way up. If he is still being compared to someone who debuted in 2007, when he debuted in 2015 that says enough right there.

Anurag gave Masaan to Vicky before Bombay Velvet bombed and his hype died. Anurag was quite a hyped name then with the likes of KJO hanging out with him and working with him. At that point for a newcomer to land a film with Anurag's production must have been quite an opportunity.

If u ask people on the streets who is their fav actor, its either gonna be any of the khans or hrithik or ajay or even akki. Animal was a big hit cos vanga is a very smart filmmaker who knows this kind of content works in a world where most people need an outlet- animal had all ingredients, violence nudity, masochism and a lost male lead. So controversial content plus hit music also

Rk is a good actor and a star, just like ranveer but none of these two have the mad raw ground stardom where like u see garlands on posters. Atleast now. If you check, the only actual other hit rk has had in last 10y was sanju? And he has hirani and VVC to thank for that because they are a brand. He was good in the film but it wasnt out of unconditional love and adulation for him. It was to see sanjay dutt's drug and prison story narrated by hirani.

otherwise all flops and underperformers. Adhm and tjmm with superhit music and massive marketing only managed 13cr and 15cr openings andnwere semi-hits that says lot. Meanwhile for ex. dunki had flop songs, an average trailer but got an opening of 28cr. fighter had average trailer, flop songs and zero promotions but still got 22cr opening on a thursday. This is real stardom. If u're only spending time on twitter, ur representation of stardom is very faulty lol

But he still auditioned for films. Huge difference between a small budget film he got a debute. And a grand SLB productions.

btw...privileged was also big b's prince but unfortunately

sunny pa ji, amir khan, Roshan, etc are also privileged 99.9% privileged . too bad aditya roy kapoor not privileged enough...regardless he wouldn't have made it big with plank expressions.

YUP RK as an actor is on another level of overrated!

Not very prolific, but still there...Dobaaraa (2 years ago) is an interesting movie (hadn't watched the Spanish original) and Tapssee really good, but it didn't make money.

Don't know about the other two he directed after Dobaaraa...
