I just had a thought and wanted to run past the gang here -

Everytime Ani speaks about sending her off "legally" what is he actually thinking?

Does he have a plan to ensure she is safe outside of Basu house - legally ensure Tejas can't near her or something like that, so that she can be free from the Basu house and be safe too?

Is he waiting for that to send her away as he was ready to put her in a hostel if she came back with him - he told her as much when trying to bring her back

What do you people think?

Hmm I haven't thought about that. May be he planned bringing Rahul and get them married "legally" and sending them offHe made him husband of her in yesterday's episode anyways so why not make it legal

I don't think Rahul features in any of Ani's plans. I was thinking along the lines of ensuring Tejas cannot lay a finger on her wherever she is. But let's see

I think he'd rather marry Jhanak again himself than hand her over to Rahul...

But seriously, it's high time he makes a comeback. They never really told us the timeline of Jhanak's final exams that Ani kept piping about... Hopefully it is over by now and Rahul has passed and gotten gainful employment so that he can come to Kolkata and whisk Jhanak away like her Knight in shining armor....

May be he just used that term to divert the Basus so that they won't try to send her away again just like that

If Ani can go with his marriage and make Arshi his wife as he likes to help Jhanak he can help her by getting her married to Rahul on humanitarian basis as a friend a well wisher so that she will be safe from Tejas as his intentions are not good he can help them settled in Calcutta's.

another thought was if he is contemplating legal break up of the fake marriage because they know one day or the other Tejas will publish their photographs

I thought may be set her up with a dance contract, legally get separated from her and let her free away from the clutches of his family and Tejas and this drama where she cud pursue her career and be safe as well. May be out of Kolkata, away from Kashmir well!
