She may have a reason to decline commitment for further leading roles at the moment...and the cameos/special appearances/supporting roles all have been shot...so, no professional commitment at the moment (and I guess, it has n o t h i n g to do with whatever offers...)

During your prime, it's important to project to directors and producers that you're a dependable star who can elevate a movie with your acting. If you waste that opportunity by taking insignificant roles, you might struggle to land good roles in your later years when younger actresses take over. I can see Alia having a long-lasting career and remaining relevant for years to come. On the other hand, despite being more talented, Deepika seems to be heading down the same path as Katrina.

bold: Those remarks should be backed with examples...there is no reason otherwise to insinuate that Deepika isn't a "dependable" star and Alia will remain "relevant for years to come".

No she is definitely not some PHAANTAASHTIK actress

She is at best an above average actress, with voice modulation and static dialogue delivery issues.

At the end of the day people go to watch movies to feel good, not to get social message or judge acting skill. A large number of audience only care about watching a good movie. They don't bother about "stars". And very few "fans" go to watch for favourite actor/actress.

Only few in the industry has the aura of a star. Deepika is one of them. Alia does not have any aura of a star and she lacks confidemce.

Others like SRK, Rekha, Amitabh bacchan have created a legacy. They are not only superstars but have legacy in bollywood. They are highly respected.

Ranbir, Ranveer, Deepika no one is at that level and probably never will be. Because to reach there one needs high level of dedication, stay humble, do years of work.
