It was more like M&B trope to be quite honest. Only difference was Agastya was softer and had a traumatic past. Gul ke shows are always bang on in terms of execution. Like you can point flaws at everything else but her casting usually and execution and aesthetics are always on point. I've seen most of her shows and can vouch for that.

I agree that the current track is palatable only coz we know it's Agastya and are enjoying the tashan between them and the swag of Surya which is so different than Agastya.

It will be Agastya only. He spoke all these things with Malti and no alone thinking. Don't know which way the story will take it has to be Agastya either acting as Surya or with memory loss.

The only way the track can be changed is low TRPs which can make Surya as an instant villain, bring Agastya back, reunite leads and end the show.

The Surya we saw before leap and Agastya accident sounded like a strict crooked cop. I don't think he was the type of guy to run behind a girl.

The current Surya is very flirty, mouthing double meaning romantic dialogues and now in today episode he tried to touch her also.

Did anyone notice when binni and Chaudhary family degraded Imlie Agastya marriage, he had serious expressions. If he was real Surya he would have wicked smile on getting information and would have taunted Imlie when she went to kitchen but he didn't .

All these things are making me believe that he is Agsatya without memory loss

bold: Don't come at me but I am enjoying this c gunda type policeman Surya and grieving but fiery widow Imlie story because it gives the vibes of those 80/90s movies in which the heroine sudharofy the rebel hero .

Shahrukh first movie " Deewana " was sort of something like this. Divya Bharti character became a widow and then Shahrukh rebel character entered. He was a rich brat but got mesmerized and fell in love at first sight with Divya character. They too had a sindoor type marriage and after that Shahrukh character tried to became worthy of her.

The movie had some of the most legendary romantic and passionate songs

he even used the dialogue " yeh Family yahan se kabhi nahi jayegi". If Surya would really consider Chaudhary family as his enemy ,this dialogue doesn't make any sense

Malti ka father seems like a very decent man, isko aisa wife kaise mila. Who knows maybe she killed her own husband when she found out that he was willed away half his fortune to Surya, Maybe it was Surya and his mother in the car. Surya died and then when the mother saw that Agastya was in the accident, thought she can control him and then the property and wealth will not be taken

Surya mother definitely has some motive to keep Agastya as Surya with her. Most probably to get the money that her husband deposited on Surya name Or for Agastya to act as male guardian for her in old age and to look after her daughter malti

The points that don't work for Surya being Agastya-

1. When Surya touches Imlie, she immediately goes "You are not Agastya baabu"..in a typical ITV show, FL recognizes the touch of ML even if diff getup, plastic surgery etc..so this could hint towards Surya really being another person

2. That dizziness that Surya seems to have since childhood and they showed this Surya also having that attack

3. The real koshish to find Raghu and get to the bottom of his disappearance..

When was it shown that Surya had these headaches since bachpan? Malti ka Amma only mentioned that this was natak, no that he has had it since childhood....

Coming to today's episode..

Majja aa gaya, when Binny was questioned by Surya.. ki tum kaun hai?? But more funny thing is, even after knowing Binni is the real wife as per everyone else, Surya will again keep on insisting being married to Imlie only..

Also very glad, like I pointed out yesterday, even others can feel that the height difference between Surya & Imlie is more evident now.. Maybe cos he is tucking-in his shirt, and jeans too is fitting, instead of baggy shirts and pants..

I have already warmed up to their pairing as Surya and Imlie...

Agreed with some of you, the ending knife scene was hot.. But then, they are a hot couple.. Aise hi thodi na, sab pagla gaye the when Auggy was shown to be "dead"...

Also Surya (Auggy with memory loss I believe), will fall in love first.. He is soon gonna re-enter the phase.. "Toh main kya keh raha tha".. jis tarike se taadta rehta hai pura din..

As per him, Imlie is following him around to keep a tab on him, but in reality, Surya ki aankhein Imlie ko har jagah dhunti hai..

I want this song to be picturized on their "evolving love" phase.. By then, Surya gets his memory back, he knows he is Agastya in love with Imlie, but she doesn't know it yet..
