I am hoping it is Agastya and he is forcing Imlie to marry him to keep her safe and since he can't do it as Agastya because of Binni he is making sure that Imlie is married to him as Surya so that she can be safe. Maybe afterwards Imlie will expose Binni ka truth with Surya ka help and when Binni is kicked out, Surya can reveal that he was Agastya all along.

In all of this can the creatives at least tell it to the audience that it is Agastya as Surya so that we can be a little stress free.

It's a long track. Things won't be revealed easily. The whole plot is based on whether Surya who is residing in Chaudhary house is Agastya only or an individual Character

The marriage with Imlie will also be sort of hate marriage like thing unlike with Agastya which was of convenience type. Atleast in marriage with Agastya, she gave respect to the relationship even though it was contract marriage. Here she is already hating on Surya. So to what extent she will do wifey duties will be a thing to look out for. That's how creatives will draw our attention to Surya Imlie relationship.

Binni bhi itni easily nahi jane wali. In today's episode only, she degraded Agastya imlie marriage. She is another Alka who will be kept in show to be the anti thesis of Imlie.

Most importantly she will kept so that they can show jealousy of her seeing Surya Imlie relationship

Sonali may get to know about Surya being Agastya twin brother just before marriage rituals but she might not be able to stop the marriage on time. I am sure family will get to know about the relation between Surya and them only after marriage. If marriage happens successfully then Imlie will officially become their bahu whether they like it or not. They can't reverse it.

How much I would love to see this. Bhale Agastya ki wife na sahi, Surya ki wife banke toh ghar ki bahu/ owner hogi na.

Imlie can be forced and coerced to marry but remember when Agastya and Imlie got married we had lot of signs saying this marriage will last for long and what not. Also they showed Imlie herself rubbing off the sindoor in contract marriage saying she will fill her maang only with love. So even to save Sonali and Chutki why would she agree to marry Surya when she does not love him.

In the promo also she says - You look like Agastyaji but your heart is not like him. I am not sure what to think but I am really hoping they won't take it till Surya - Imlie ka marriage fake, contract or hate marriage. If they show Imlie marrying it better be showed as it is Agastya who is marrying Imlie to keep her safe with him as he has some information which he can't share at this moment. At the least the audience should be made aware of it even if the characters are not told. I don't know how the trp audience is going to take this twist of twin brother marrying the wife of another.

Did not watch the episode yet. But my question is why are they making all theories so complicated? Itna complicated story mat banao ki audience don't get connected.

Hugs to my old friends here and welcome to the new folks! I am glad to see many new members and new ATs getting filled out. Seems like the show ranking has also increased on the forum. Good good!!

I took a break from the show in between because I had some personal and professional stuff going on and also because I was kind of done with the revenge family and the on-again-off-again, reveal-non-reveal stalker track..

But just in the last 2-3 days, I caught up on all the episodes and here is my 2 cents (well 20 cents, if you may ) on it:

Pehle to about pre-Surya tracks-

Of course they again randomly changed the entire backstory with Navya coming to kill after 1 year, no real reason why Navya kept looking for Imlie all these years and so on...but whatever...its done and dusted now (hopefully)

The last two episodes with Agastya were very emotional..the Agaslie scene before Agastya falls and then the "paani pi lo" scene where Imlie imagines Agastya...I will admit I welled up..I don't know how you daily episode watchers slept on those scenes..I was glad I could just move past them with some cheery Naacho song right after

I was even starting to feel slightly bad for Vishwa as well during his last scene...but then he said that 8th birth wali baat and I was like cheee

I was glad about-

a) whether consummation happened or didnt happen on the truck, I am glad (hopefully) no bachcha coming at least for now...bachcha ane ke baad saare shows ek jaise ho jate hai and I don't think Imlie anyway has that bachcha show wala audience to make that work for the trp sakes

b) they ended the revenge family and the lame stalker..sachchi wo mask dekhke mai itna irritate ho chuki thi na

c) they kept the Agastya family intact...Even with the fresh start, I am invested in seeing both Sonali and Karan-Bulbul love story angles and I am hopeful just giving a fresh start for Agaslie will give them a chance to bring logical conclusion for other side characters and help the audience with continuity...I just loved it when Bulbul put Karan in his place in a couple of scenes lol

I just with there was a proper Agaslie hug...I had said it before..there have been many instances where Imlie hugged Agastya passionately and Agastya didn't reciprocate..I wished to see some good passionate hugs between then, initiated by Agastya..hopefully abhi Surya track me wo ho jaye...

Now coming to the Surya entry-

It's true that there was nothing much left to show in the main story...so it had to be either this or both Agaslie dying and next gen...I initially wished they had killed both Agaslie and retained the same actors to play the next gen..but then when I saw the actual execution of this track, I was quite impressed..

Kudos to both Sai and Adrija...superb performance..Adrija looks so good even in the de-glam look..in fact I like this look better than those non-existent blouse sarees..

And definitely this look suits Sai much much better..he is looking dashing in well-fitting clothes, this hairstyle and that smug/smirky look on the face..he is nailing it

The new promo couldn't garner as many views as legacy or lost shows. I think even the last Imlie promo with Surya's entry garnered better viewership than this one.

Also episode snippets of other shows are having way more views than Imlie.

But yeah, if u watched it all in one go.. lucky for you.. else the DDP was too much

I think all of us have low-key accepted, that since Imlie show doesn't run on the typical ITV formulae being replicated everywhere right now, it might not show the results, we would love to see..

But I am very sure, the repeat value is huge... I mean huge.. I myself have rewatched some episodes more than twice... (u could also say, that was my coping mechanism when Auggy's death news came, neverthless..)

P.S- As far as I remember, IPKKND when it used to air, was quite popular, but the massive popularity and repeat value, it garnered later, is unprecedented.. Like everyone, I didn't get at that time, why did they ended it so early (Fittemuh Barun! ) but reflecting on it now.. I am glad they didn't compromise on the storytelling, & wrapped it up..

As for the future track...I really really really want Surya to be Agastya...I don't care what logical or illogical twist they come up with...just manifesting it right here, right now...

Since CVs seem to be playing inkie pinkie ponky at the moment, here are a few options from their PoV-

1) That Agastya is different and Surya is different and both are alive...this is Surya and then Imlie-Surya will fall in love eventually and then Agastya will come back and they will make Imlie a football between the two depending on how the audience reacts...I absolutely loathe this option and I really hope they don't stoop to this for the TRPs sake..anyway, I don't think Imlie audience would like this so they won't get their TRPs and would have absolutely ruined the show at that point beyond the point of return.

2) Agastya is dead and this is Surya- this was somewhat acceptable to me, up until today, until they apparently made Surya Agastya's long lost twin brother..that just makes things weird and yucky..I would have been fine with Surya being an independent character who is Agastya's look-alike and then Surli develop feelings for each other..but this brother thing is a no no

3) Surya is dead and Agastya is alive- Better than option 2 of course..that also gives some logical explanation as to why Agastya can pretend to be Surya..either bcz he is dead or in coma and then he has taken over Surya's background to get to the root of his murder etc..maybe Meera ma found out abt her lost son after leaving Choudhary house..and then after Agaslie marriage in the temple, Agastya called Meera to apologize and assure her that he will give her izzat back and that's when she told him about Surya..and this is what Agastya was about to say to Imlie when he said "Aur ek baat hai" but that accident happened..

4) There is no Surya, this is Agastya- I like this option the best...there is and was never a Surya..its Agastya's brainchild to get to the root of his murder and this family and all, everything is fake since he also mentioned at some point that he is an undercover agent...so both Malti and Surya/Agastya are agents pretending to be a family to catch the goon Raghu and their mother is delusional (she and Malti both seem delusional to me, TBH ) btw why is Sai fated to have a tharki jeeja in all this characters (the legacy show, Amrit and now Malti's hubby)

Either way, I want this Surya to be Agastya...oh how lovely it will be when Imlie finds out and they can have an entire track of Imlie suspecting this is agastya and finally the reveal..

As to why Agastya wouldn't say it to Imlie yet-

I think there is also this Agastya k murder ki mystery in the background...Agastya must have realized that there is someone in the family working against him..and if he comes clean with Imlie, he is putting her in danger again and also whoever the real culprit is, will start getting suspicious if they see Surya being nice to Imlie...Agastya must also be aware that Binni is playing games so if he returns as Agastya, he would have to contine his marriage to Binni, which he obviously doesn't want..he must be using those 2 months to really get a hang of being Surya, before he comes to Purwaiyya and face the family as disguised Surya..there was also a scene where he catches someone who did an accident..he could be investigating his own accident...

They also showed Jugs getting suspicious..hopefully Jugs is the one who recognizes Agastya the first and they team up to find the culprit...

Surya is never really harming the Choudhary family yet..its all just lip service..he actually saves their home and is going to make them stay there...he was really trying to help Chutki..also the way he entered next to Imlie when everyone came back from the auction..the way he was questionning Ginni..and oh the way he teases and flirts with Imlie..that haq se..it can only be her Baabu

The points that don't work for Surya being Agastya-

1. When Surya touches Imlie, she immediately goes "You are not Agastya baabu"..in a typical ITV show, FL recognizes the touch of ML even if diff getup, plastic surgery etc..so this could hint towards Surya really being another person

2. That dizziness that Surya seems to have since childhood and they showed this Surya also having that attack

3. The real koshish to find Raghu and get to the bottom of his disappearance..

Maybe he is indeed, real Surya who will eventually see the good side of the choudharies, reconcile with his long lost family at birth and fall in love with Imlie..

But oh, did I mention that I really want Surya to be Agastya?? I guess I did
