On the topic of music, the recent episode gave me hope that we’re going to have more retro songs again.

Since Agastya and Imlie’s wedding was in private, do y’all think Surya will do a wedding with full rituals so no one can question the validity of their marriage? Or at least, in Chaudhary Nivas, in front of everyone? Or do y’all think he’ll go the chat mangni pat biah route?

Either way, there’s a song I’ve got in mind if they decide to include music somehow. The song Yeh Mehendi Ke Boote from Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai (a movie where a girl, who was once blind, loses the love of her life after gaining her sight. And as she’s about to marry someone else, she finds out her love was alive. She also calls him Babu)

In the song, the main chorus goes: “Mehendi lagaon kis naam ke, Radha toh bani hai bas Shyam ke”. Honestly, a very beautiful song and it would a great way to portray how Imlie is feeling. Since her Shyam has always been and will always be Agastya.

It’s wishful thinking at this point but still wanted to share.

Is this that Ameesha Patel, Bobby Arjun Rampal movie? I’ve never seen it nor heard this song but would love to hear good meaningful retro songs on Surya Imlie.

I think the wedding will be before the full family this time. Agastya won’t make the same mistake

What is the next festival that is upcoming that will likely be celebrated/shown in the show? I am sure there will be some bit of the mystery revealed there. Each passing week, we seem to getting hints here and there to make us more hopeful. I feel they build up the drama for the week, and then on Wednesday and Thursday they have not filler type episodes, but episodes which don't have a lot happening/revealing.

Today they flipped again. Surya now wants to take revenge/ investigate the three women to understand what happened to his brother in law. Itne din toh yeh baat nikli hi nahi thi. He wants to target Shivani as she is a weak link. He tried to manipulate Shivani but luckily Sonali and Imlie came in between.

Sonali ka kaam hi hai to doubt everyone. She has heard the conversation about the twin from the nurse. She is yet to get to the full truth but she will reach there soon. It was so sweet to see Imlie and Sonali conversation. I love their bond so much. Surya is behind the three women now. I love fierce Imlie scenes. Surya gave a hint to Imlie that he got the house, now is going to snatch his family and wife. The tashan scenes are so good. Imlie is so confused about his motives, how will she tackle him.

Imlie bechari ke nightmares continue - pehle Agastya ka death, then that man dying and now the family being attacked by Surya.

Surya is a master manipulator. I think Agastya ke saath huye saare manipulation ka badla le raha hai. I rolled my eyes when Dadi said majal hai is chehre ko na karde. Nannamma, you denied him the love of his life.

Surya ka swag is so good. Sabko grah pravesh ke bahane rok lia. Alka is tensed because raaz bahar na aa jaye. Surya asked Binni how is she related to Agastya and was shocked to hear she was his wife. He now knows about the contract marriage with Imlie, knows how much the family hates her and thinks she’s responsible for Agastya ka death. Surya nicely chilling in the kitchen was a cute scene. Imlie putting a knife on him was hot AF ngl.

They need to use the promo wala catchy music in the show as well.

Today looked like a filler episode. The main track starts from 25th feb and that is the next episode. And Imlie also will hit 1100 episodes on 25th feb. Maybe that is why we had the rain promo released to coincide with the milestone.

Coming to the episode, I am confused now. I was thinking that Surya is Agastya but then today looks different. So Surya's reason for buying the house is still the missing BIL it looks like. And he has his suspicions on Shivani, Sonali and Imlie. Hmm interesting.

Alka tried to talk to the nurse who threw the baby away. I think more than Sonali, Shivani and Imlie, Alka is going to crack and confess that Surya is Agastya's twin brother. I am glad that Sonali has heard the last bits of the conversation and is trying to reach out to the truth.

Sonali and Imlie's conversation was really good - Glad that Imlie told Sonali all that Surya threatened her with. The early morning dream seemed scary. Imlie was really scared about something bad happening to the family members and wanted to take them away from Surya's reach. But Surya has locked the doors and is keeping them back for Griha pravesh puja.

I guess with the puja it will be revealed that Surya is the son of the Chaudhary family and that is how the whole family will again stay back in the mansion. But will Surya still try to hate marry Imlie ? That conversation with Binni seems to be put in for that reason. Binni claimed that she is the legal wife of Agastya when in reality she was bought in only for some time.

Right now the show is serving lots of suspense - I am unable to decide whether the character is Surya or Agastya in Surya's disguise. Not going to stress out and just going to go with the flow.

The Chaudhary’s are really the most nashukri bunch of people. It’s so irritating to hear them constantly badmouth Imlie, especially when she’s going out of her way to take care of them. They keep diminishing Imlie's importance in Agastya’s life as if she wasn’t the woman he loved till his last breath.

The fact the Imlie is ready to fight with Surya and the entire world so fiercely but always lets herself be belittled by the Chaudhary’s is so sad. It sucks to see her cry because of them. Surya was the only one to see her tears obvi, couldn't get a proper read on his expression but he did keep his eyes glued on her.

Crazy how nobody questions how Surya was all surprised yesterday that he looks like their Gattu, yet somehow he knew about Yamlie’s marriage to Agastya.

At least, Binni is starting to slowly show her true colours with her complaints about them shifting into a small house. The audacity for her to call Imlie greedy and money-hungry when she’s literally kabzao-ing her haq in the house. The way she devalued Imlie and Agastya’s story as a mere contract marriage when she only knew the guy for a day.

I guess for now Surya is in the guest room and after the griha pravesh, he’ll shift to Agastya’s room. I don’t like Imlie calling him Bade Saab either, like at all. Rowdy Reddy is fine though. Jugnu is already noticing the proximity between Paro and Surya, wonder if he’ll keep it to himself or not.

Sonali’s inquisitive nature is my favourite thing, even if it’s her own mother, she will get to the truth. I guess they’ll soon reveal that Surya is Kunal and Meera son’s. Which in turn will create the family bond between them all.

So I was wondering hypothetically, let's say the one who died was Agastya and this is his twin Surya. What Surya knows is that his brother in law disappeared and Imlie was on that phone call. Based on the police investigation, he knows Sonali and Shivani are involved as well.

Now he has not been allowed to officially investigate the matter so he is using teda ways to get to the truth. The Surya we first knew wouldn't wait this long. My first question is there has been a lot of time lapsed. He should have tried to threaten and get the truth out of either of these 3 ladies. He does not want to pursue any other line of investigation, what if these three actually know nothing? What kind of a cop does that, just follow one lead.

Now coming to the most important thing, what has Agastya ka house, his family and his wife got anything to do with this revenge or investigation or whatever the hell Surya is up to. This makes absolutely no sense at all.

Unless this is in fact Agastya who bought the house because he wanted to ensure no one else buys the house and ousts his family. He can atleast make them live with him in the house and continue his pretense of being Surya. He wants to be close to his family for obvious reasons and wants to marry Imlie because she is his wife anyway. Today the way he enquired with Binni about her relationship and then keenly observes Imlie ka fierce protectiveness for a family that berates her, doesn't believe she married their son. Puri KAPI hi kaali hai acc to me.

I'm pretty sure the twin truth will be out and that is how Surya will ask this family to stay back in the house. If that be the case, I don't know how and why will Imlie agree to marry Surya. If Agastya has died, it would suck that the Chaudhary family gets another child to torture and replace Gattu while Imlie is the only one who really lost her love and won't get him back.

I agree with you that I hated seeing them berate Imlie for the millionth time when for the millionth time we see Imlie try to save this nashukra family. The way her tears fell on the floor, it was indeed heartbreaking. Is ladki ko ek din chain nahi, araam nahi.

If this is Agastya and he is intentionally (for however valid a reason) putting lmlie through so much pain - first for the death and now for the Surya threats, he deserves some choicest gaalis from my side.

Yes the creatives seem to be playing Eeny Meeny Miny Moe for whether they want to show Agastya or Surya. Yesterday all it felt as if it was Agastya who was irritating Imlie and today it is looking as if it is Surya who has his doubts on Shivani, Imlie and Sonali and is trying to make them confess. Pata nahin - what the creatives want to show.

I feel Sonali is going to crack the mystery and will get to the truth that Surya is the second son of Kunal and Meera and that is the only way Surya will somehow drop the murder investigation of Raghu. He might convince his sister to move on from the guy and that is the only plausible way the murder of this guy will be brushed off the rug and Surya will also get the family to live with him as they are now family.

@bold:- I totally agree. The pathetic family will now swoon over and fawn over Surya as they got their Gattu back and Imlie is the only one who stands to lose in all of this. She lost the love of her life and she just does not know how she can protect the family from Surya given that Surya is now the son of Chaudhary's.

I am thinking - Will the family agree to Surya marrying Imlie ? Whether they agree or not they know that Imlie and Agastya loved each other and they blame Imlie for Agastya's death. I am wondering how will they agree to Imlie marrying Surya now again if Surya is indeed the son of Kunal.

I really hope it is Agastya only and Somehow Agastya and Surya have already met and they are out to find the truth as to why they look so much alike. Yes later Imlie should blast Agastya for putting her through all this misery. But maybe Agastya is doing all this to keep his family safe - I don't know from what threat.

Bold: I think Surya will eventually get to the truth of his BIL's death & he will blackmail imlie to marry him if she wants to prevent her Sonali didi & Chutki's arrest, that too, in a murder case. She will have to give in obviously.

Red: now it seems like a memory loss case to me. I don't know what to make out of this but I just don't want this to be the real Surya as we're slowly getting to the romance angle & he's technically imlie's devar. This is wrong on so many levels
