He was solely thinking about abhira in the darkroom. Only thing on his mind was abhira abhira. Then she emotionally manipulated and blackmailed him to the point he burst out and had FB's of his past with her. That was very realistic. Feelings come natural and he was manipulated emotionally to think about his past . This was my interpretation of that scene.I fully respect if you have different viewpoint

Abhira told Armaan how yuvraj used to touch her forcefully...it was shown before Akshara got killed...

This character shouldn't be praised for anything...you can definitely praise the actor..

Armaan cries all the time.. He is a male bahu for a reason.. He cried thinking about Vidya Madhav's anniversary party for God's sake.. I was like "What theee!!!" that day

He was crying because he feels guilty of Ruhi's situation.

Ruhi is constantly guilt tripping him saying you asked me to marry Rohit and didn't stand up for our love now see how happy I am..

And he never retorted her saying you were the one who didn't trust me in the first place because I was unavailable for merely 48 hours..

He felt guilty of Ruhi's condition and that's why the cry fest.

I am not saying he shouldn't reprimand Ruhi for her actions and shouldn't set clear boundaries.. I hope with time he does.. But now he doesn't have any feelings for Ruhi. Most of his thoughts are around Abhira and hers only.. He mostly thinks about her apart from his family.. Ruhi exists only as his family and nothing else. She literally has to blackmail him or be a bechari to gain his attention. And that was the cause of Ruhi's eternal DDP that day..

He may not be in love with Abhira yet, but sure as hell he is not in love with Ruhi also..

I mean that's continuously shown from starting how easily he can be guilt tripped and manipulated because of his past even abhira knows now how he easily he can be guilt tripped ( she mentioned this in the episode where Vidya gave abhira the blessings
