Isn't that chapati? I've never heard of chowpatty as a food item, Google didn't show it too. It is famous as a beach. I don't think he was fat shaming. He called him Chowpatty (beach) coz it rhymed with Tripathi.

I am sure that is the case, was only mentioning because that might be the reason why it was thought to be fat shaming, as Chowpatty is like a reference to street food in the UK - but would not be the same in India.
