Surya not on good terms with his adoptive mother is going to land Imlie in trouble. The mother will keep pushing him to prove he can protect this family etc. and he will unwillingly hurt Imlie to prove his loyalties. Agastya was also indebted to the Chaudhary family due to which Imlie always ended up being the second choice for him.

If Surya is the new hero for Imlie (assuming Agastya wont return), what is the point of making him as majboor as Agastya. I am not happy about this background information. The mother could have actually been nice to him. Yeh sabke baggage and traumas ko Imlie heal kyu kare.

Also, agree in that family, Sonali does not deserve any pain. Uske alawa I couldn't care less about any of them.

Again, my mind can’t help it but to compare with August Babu because he just was something else. His family dynamic was well established, we really knew so much about him in the end. Probably why they killed him as they felt they couldn’t go anywhere with him anymore story wise. Sai played him so well that the show feels incomplete without him. Surya still doesn’t feel like the male lead in vibes.

Finally watched the episode. I feel the creatives are throwing lot of red herrings our way.

So Looks like Surya was adopted and was bought home by his adopted father. So does that mean he might potentially be Meera's second twin son which got stolen from her from the hospital. If so, how are they going to even resolve the past given that probably Meera is gone away and there might not be anyone who knows about this swap.

The mother does not seem to be too fond of Surya so there goes our theory of maybe Surya is Agastya with memory loss. He seems to be a different character altogether.

I am glad that the police officer took away the case from Surya as he was emotionally vested in the case. And now the case is closed. So are they never going to ever visit this case ? So we have to assume that this one will be brushed off the rug just like that ? I can't help but think that the whole point of Raghu being dead is so that Surya can have his mindless badla with Imlie and can buy out the Chaudhary house.

I am really glad that Imlie got a lead about Binni. I think they are going to keep Binni open ended and may pack her off in a week or so when Surya and Imlie ka story takes off. That is why Binni is not doing plotting and planning like other permanent vamps. She is just a wallpaper who will be packed off when the time is correct.

There was one dialogue which Imlie said in today's episode when she was arguing with Surya - Did you hit your head or so and lost your memory. Was that just a dialogue or some indication ?

@Blue looks like she will be packed off soon. With the help of Imlie and Surya.

Yes the jeeja death is a set up for Surya to hate Imlie and may be revenge marry her. The whole set up is exactly like Sai ka first show like someone else pointed out. Actually Sai pulled off an Agastya who was a complete contrast character. Surya is somewhat similar to the usual tropes. I still feel Sai is doing well - it is not easy to make all your characters different. This is his 4th proper character in his ITV journey (3rd Telugu) and I can tell all of them apart- from clothes to hairstyle to mannerisms to dialogues and voice modulation.

Btw just a few hours ago we were thinking Surya is Agastya and made all these theories. Now we are back to thinking Surya is someone diff (not sure what the status of Agastya is now).

It was always there in the plot that Surya will be the twin of Agastya. Ab woh zinda hain ya phir died woh kisiko nahi pata. If 'Surya' is not a part of the Chaudhury family then how would he enter the house? Also Chaudhurys are not going anywhere. One mistake the makers did with Imlie season 1 was remove the OG family completely and bring Aryan's family in their place. It did not help in the ratings as audience were connected with the Tripathis. Simillarly here Fraudhurys are not going anywhere. So Surya has to be a part of that family. My gripe is that they made the mother negative. But then I understand it is a part of the plot. To portray 'Surya' as majboor. Now whether 'Surya' will be majboor or not that needs to be seen.

Even if Surya is Agastya, he will be shown majboor to please his new found mother and sister and also that will help the story move forward if they are going for that hate/revenge marriage type love story between Surya and Imlie.

But yes all this drama will happen in front of Chaudhurys who will be kept in show so that Surya eventually regains his memory and remember his real identity as Agastya

Yes by the looks of it, Jeeja would be declared missing and the sister would be weeping in his absence which will make Surya hate Imlie and he makes Imlie his target for his revenge plan. I really hope he does not marry her because part of me wants Agastya to be back. But maybe he will realize the depth of love Imlie has for her babu and then will agree to help her find her babu. I want it to go the Hum Dil De Chuke sanam in which the husband takes his wife to meet up with his lover.

But hopefully here they will not show marriage between Surya and Imlie. If they do show marriage between Surya and Imlie then that means Agastya ain't coming back or Surya is only Agastya with some weird twisted memory loss story. Also today the camera focused a lot on the scars on the back of Surya - they look healed and I am not able to make it out if the creative team wants us to think it is new scars or old scars. Did Surya get those scars from the fall ? Then we might still get Agastya is Surya with memory loss. Let's see.

Agastya has apparently 'died' , not living his own life, but living as Surya. His memories with Imlie is also dead. Its just Imlie who can bring his memories and lost 'life' back.

If its Agastya's pretense, then also it can fit the story with some drama.

@bold:- I have to give it to the technical team. They had an authentic Hindi paper printed out and it was Purwaiya Kabar. Props is really good in this show.

And yes in Chaudhary family apart from lallaji only Sonali has the business instincts. Govind and Karan toh nikhame hain and they are going to tank the business. No wonder Surya is able to buy off the house so easily.
