First season and singing show in past 10 years - I am watching every bit of it - without FFing

All of them have different voice / texture of voice and singing style!

Utkarsh, piyush and subo can pull old melody so gracefully - never had that charisma in previous seasons!

All of male singers in previous season were or were trying to copy arijit and female singer - shreyadidn't devlop or had their own voice / style except shivam in last season.

In this season, if I listen with eyes closed, I can feel Rafiji in piyush's voice, Lataji in Menuka, Kishorkumar in utkarsh/subo/dipen, sukhwinder in vaibhav, ashaji/alka ji in ananya

I watched idol's previous seasons too - but would FF most of that over sad dramas and judges/host OTT part - end up watching my favorite singers 3-4 the most.

Totally agree with I have not missed single episode of this season so far and only one I did that was saregamapa lil champs 2019 and Indian idol junior 1 and 2. Last season I don’t follow properly but whatever I have watched I love Shivam and Sonakshi.

I think this season definitely is better than the last 3 seasons. What I like about this season is that there is no clear frontrunner anyone could win. In the last 3 seasons by a certain point there was already a frontrunner in the series. I also think judges and hosting is better. Plus the judges dont do drama and offer constructive feedback. One thing that does drag this season down is adhya and obom continuing to survive eliminations despite coming in the bottom almost every week.
