I’ll use ITV logic with a bit of real life theories too. Sometimes people can wake up from major traumatic accidents with a different set of linguistic skills. It’s as if the mind is malleable for a little moment and suddenly they get molded to something else.

Again very far fetched, but Agastya’s mind could’ve basically filled in the gaps of whatever he was told after waking up. We’ve been saying how something feels off about Surya, this could be it. What if he’s actually a chalava, a mere illusion of what Surya was after hearing about him.

Still we’ll have to wait and see what theories of ours come true. So far we’ve had some pretty good ones and a lot of them come true. ITV writing is pretty predictable but this show does have a knack for throwing us off like the Agastya “Masked Killer” track.

I don’t see how a trauma or accident can make a person learn a new language all together. It has to be his mother tongue because that’s his default language with everyone and then he got to explain the Telugu in Hindi translation. They better serve us some good drama and suspense. Weekend pe sab dimag laga ke baithe hai is AT pe. I dont think writer’s have even spent any thoughts on logic for this track. I wish they surprise us as they did with the Agastya stalker track.

It’s more theoretical science, no hard facts to prove it but it could be a type of bilingual afasi. If Agastya already had a rudimentary knowledge of telugu because of a college roommate or something. The trauma from the accident could push his mind to accomdate telugu as his primary language.

There’s also xenoglossy which is a bit more of a parapsychological phenomenon because of which someone can pick up an entire language without having to actually put effort to learn it. If Surya is Agastya then it would be more responsive xenoglossy as he speaks the language as if he’s known it his whole life.

Whatever he heard in his unconscious state or soon after gaining consciousness could have become his reality, hence his mind could’ve adapted to fit the narrative. After heavy trauma, the brain will try and protect itself from further stress, if believing he was Surya was easier than trying to remember himself than his brain picked the safest options.

Again do I think the creators are applying theoritical science to their logic? Absolutely not, only we spend so much time analyzing in depth like that lol

It can happen, it's rare and usually a medical phenomenon, but it can happen, especially if the person has heard the language during their comatose state (or has heard it in his lifetime).

Tum log bade words bol rahe ho, mere bhi sir ke upar se jaa raha hai.

All I care about is Agastya being alive. Baki sab se no matlab.

Remember the time, when they tried to fool the audience into believing that Agastya could be the stalker. So much was happening all at a time. Nothing was clicking me as to why would he do that.

Sai did really good acting that episode when he was waving the knife around and looking under tables me and my sister were a little scared 🤣

I've put together the theory we all seem to agree on with some links to scenes we'd like!

@joliefemme please could we put this at the front of the next thread as well? I can pm it to you?

Let me know if I've missed anything 😄

@Sunaina7 -

Agastya accident happened in day and Surya was also arriving purwaiya on same day. What if accident of both of them happened. Dead body of Agastya was found in night. Someone has changed the clothes of Agastya and watch too which was his identification mark and made it wear wear on Surya dead body which was identified by Chaudhary family

@LKashish -

At the end of the track, all they’d have to do is show us a flashback of Surya’s family finding Agastya after the Chaudhary’s left, Thinking that he’s Surya, they took him home and his mind started filling the blanks after spending time with them.

And the memory loss would explain him not recognizing Imlie.

They could slowly drop hints through the upcoming month, about him having some of Agastya’s habit, things that the real Surya wouldn’t do.

When the reveal comes around of Agastya having memory loss, they could show us that Surya’s mum knew he wasn’t her son. Whether it be through ...
