About Surya being Agastya.. What is that one thing he can accomplish being Surya & not Agastya? Why would he continue with the facade for such a long time? I don't find any solid reason for that Or maybe they have not revealed it to us yet.

Being a cop gives him more powers to do investigation? He is not tied down by his family's blackmailing. I feel Agastya ki life is still at risk till they don't find who wanted to kill him(?) I still don't think it was Navya or her minions who did it.

Mereko abhi bhi binni pe hi doubt hai. She stood to gain the most after his death (money, being called his wife, the name to her child). If Agastya reached home that day, she would be out because he would tell the wedding was fake.

Yes Surya ka family doesn't seem natural. Not sure if it is the writing (or it's shown like that on purpose).

Yes they are using a darker tone foundation for him.

I hate to think it's because they think South Indian people have a naturally darker complexion.

I was wondering the same, I feel like they made Sai a bit more tan for the role na? Maybe it’s the lighting or makeup, his hair also looks darker.

I had missed that in the episode. This reel made me wonder if they've done something to it.

Yeah, it can be the lighting but i wonder what @joliefemme just mentioned, might be for the South Indian character. So not right. Itv should stop with the stereotypical mindset

It could have been to make Surya look different compared to Agastya but idk I just am so used to ITV stereotyping South Indians. So it may as well have been to show South Indians have a darker skin tone.

I was pretty mad at the jeeja using Vanakam which is Tamil and not Telugu. Like it's two different languages. How can you mix them up. Plus it's not even like it's a new word or something. It is such a popular word.

YHM has stereotyped South Indians as well isliye I hate to see South Indian families in mainstream GECs. It is nothing new. I wish there is more research done on these things. Warna stick to North Indian family stories.

Yeah, perhaps to give him a diff look. But it was not necessary actually. You've already shown him completely opposite to Agastya, what else is left?

Also, they had played a tamil song for his entry right?

Bold: I remember even in YHC(after rebirth of leads), they had toned down the FL's complexion to portray her as a South indian. It is sad honestly.
