I think (well for me at least) a major factor he is not clicking is because I am still holding on to Agastya, and whenever I see his scenes, I am looking for clues that will show me that this in Agastya actually. So in essence I am not able to appreciate the scenes in its standalone. I think once I can stop the comparisons and the correlations, maybe I will feel a little differently, but it hasnt happened yet, and I dont know when it will.

I know right! I was hoping we’d get something like when Imlie and Agastya were on their date and they showed us a memory that the audience hadn’t seen. When Imlie said August Babu was like an open book/towel for her, and we saw a little moment in the early days of their contract marriage. They lived together for 6 months, I’m sure there’s moments they can cook up. Yeh writers bohot kanjoos hai aaj kal…

At the same time, maybe they’re being stingy with dream sequences and flashbacks so we get used to Agastya being gone. Whether it’s buildup his return and to keep us missing him or to strengthen the plot of his death, who knows.

For all those times, atleast ek baar Binni nikal bahar kare sabko so they know how it feels. Also even if they prove baby is not Agastya ka, how will they prove the marriage was fake. She has rights to the property as his wife too.

Not a Mumbai resident so can't give accurate information but I think Imlie set is in extreme interiors of film city surrounded by jungles and lush greenery. That's may be the reason shows like SBS/SBB don't go on the set

Rest I have seen them giving spoilers when revenge family track was going on.

What I know is Film city is a huge huge place. There are multiple sets inside there (like where the jhopdi is and where the Chaudhary house is). At a time multiple shows and movies are shot inside it is that huge. Then if they need outdoors like temples, helipad, jungle, empty roads etc there are specific places inside Film city where it is shot.

Not sure exactly how much inside film city the set is but it's not inaccessible. Don't know why SBB and SBS don't cover the shoots anymore. It is also possible that the sets are closed to media when they don't want upcoming plots to be leaked to the audience. Can't say.

These people had the audacity of telling her that she’s no one to him in comparison to the girl he knew for a day. And despite all of that, she’s taking the blame for a murder to protect Agastya’s sisters.

On the other end, Surya, the off the books inspector is going to hound her like a criminal. And why is Surya even doing all of that? To get justice for his sister’s tharki husband who was ready to sexually assault multiple women in one day.

Imlie’s marriage with Agastya was a marriage of convenience but who knows Gul might actually put her in a forced marriage with Surya. This is all so unpleasant.

Like this girl has to settle for Stockholm like love with Surya. Why does fate have to be so cruel to her? I really hate this y’all.

They won't show Surya also very rude. Imlie is 8:30 prime time show. If they make male lead extreme in his actions, audience have choice in family entertainer rival show . Itna risk nahi le sakte

But yeah Surya is going to be different from Agastya and his approach towards Imlie will be different. Aaj ke episode mein the way he looked at Imlie with fierceness isn't something that Agastya had done even in his worst temperament

So Agastya as a character was soft, emotional and vulnerable. He was not fit for the Gul trope of Angry Young Man such as Maan, ASR, Asad, Aryan etc. So she brought SPR because he would fit in the AYM template that usually work for her shows?

How much ever we loved Agastya, this season wasn’t as popular as the Arylie track online. Do y’all think the pivot is because Gul really wanted a new story with AYM male lead and not the softie Agastya whom we absolutely adore? If that is the thought, then I’m afraid Agastya may not return.

@Illyra, just wanted to point out that irrespective of the fact that we are attached to and missing Agastya, there is something in SPR that’s not clicking. They need to have a better background story for him to click with the audience. Like someone pointed out, it looks like he is picked from somewhere and dumped in this show. If Gul wants this pair to be end game, SPR needs a better molded characterization. Sai ki acting se I have no issues but the writing is definitely pulling him down.

Looks like an upcoming episode will be with Imlie at college/university. One of Agastya ka wishes that I'm happy she is fulfilling

Aise track pe bhar bharke trp aaye. Dukh dard of the Chaudhary family (this time there's no Agastya to support). Kind of like a karma for what they put Agastya and Imlie through. They don't deserve the selfless love of these two.

I'm still annoyed that Agastya bound Imlie with a promise of taking care of his useless family (didn't he realize the whole raita he had failoed which would make it so much more difficult for her to fulfill her promise). Like Kashish said he didn't even try much to live for her arghhh. Also expecting Imlie to not move on in her life and remain stuck with his memories and his responsibilities is a bit too much. They didn't even have enough time together.

Koi aur hota toh sochta that she should find another love and live her life happily instead of living as his widow and bearing his responsibilities. This was extremely selfish of Agastya. I feel had she not been bound by his promise, Imlie would actually not have the will to live too. So idk.

As a well wisher of Imlie, I don't want her to spend her whole life as his widow. She didn't even get to live a married life with him. If Agastya is not coming back them might as well Imlie find love with Surya and lead a happy life. May be she will fall in love with him (may not be as all consuming as the one she had with Agastya) but just enough to give her support, companionship and warmth. Kal ho na ho Naina and Rohit types.

We were talking about gul male leads name starting with " A" initials some days back. I forgot to add "Ansh Rathod" of nazar show. Now take it as another hope that show hero will be " Agsatya " Only and he will return because his name starts with A and not Surya
