Upbringing can't be only one parent responsibility. If Giriraj is a bad parent and bad influence. So, is Malini. She never tried to control Omi's temper, tantrums or behaviour. As an Ex IAS officer she is now trying to save a criminal that's says everything about her as a person.

Very true, in fact she is at fault more than Giriraj in case of Omi. She definitely failed as a mother. May be she was busy as IAS officer and Giriraj raised Omi. But, what was she doing after she left office. No excuses for that..

Even looking at the injustice towards Alka, she still cannot take stand for her, that was least expected..

Not to mention, about trying to save a criminal now. Adi was correct to say, Omi cannot be spared, at least for supporting the culprit and tampering evidences. Malini should have stood by Adi and fight for minimum sentence for Omi if she was sure Omi cannot do such things (being an IAS Office she should know that much at least)..
