Real life Nand Nandini was a neglected wife and Chandragupta won't listen to any of her bhashans, Dharma was his favourite for a brief period and after birth of Vittashoka she lost her position. Maryam Uz Zamani I didn't read much about as Primary sources are not available online. None of these women were chief queens. 😂🤣 Nand Nandini was a secondary wife , Dhamma wasn't even a properly wedded wife and Maryan uz Zamani and her origins are debatable. 😕🙄

Jodha's bhashans were somehow tolerable but Nandini was just too much due to poor acting and coarse and loud voice.

Actually whoever gives birth to the heir her position is always above other queens even if not for husband but her son will rule the kingdom next. Selflessness or kindness jo bhi ho itna nahi hota tha queens mein. Rukaiyaa and Devi...they are shown as real only. In reality queens aise hi hote hai not this Karu or Jodha or Nandini. Yeh ekta k queens hai.

In Mughal era too marium uz zamani or marium uz makani ka darza upar hota tha. It's truth and they take a sadistic pleasure and pride that her son will be the next king. I still remember when Rukaiyaa gives the news of her pregnancy she never said aap Abbujaan banne Wale ho or main maa banne wali hoon. She said proudly woh marium uz zamani banegi

Chandragupta only listened to Chanakya's bhashans, Bindusara listened to his father and Ashok listened to no one except Asandhimitra and not her bhashans but her philosophical thoughts.
