Anuj rescues Shruti and Anupamaa is rescued by a stranger. Both are apologetic .
Shruti is heart broken , she feels betrayed by Anuj and Anupama. She feels an idiot for failing to join the dots and realise this herself . She feels hurt why Aadya did not tell her. Anuj tries to explain to Shruti but she is inconsolable .
At Kapadia house , Aadya is worried Anuoama was not there in the Restaurant, and Pops and Shru were not responding to calls , she wonders what was going on n fears of Anuoama spoilt Shru’s BD celebrations .
On the streets Anupama is seen rushing back to restaurant, she is very upset over Anuj’s love confession and his desire to get back with Anupama. She regrets meeting him . She accidentally collides with Kinjal and shares her woes with her . Anupama pours out her heart before Kinjal as she offers her a patient ear, Anupama hates destiny for bringing Anuj face to face with her again, she feels upset for giving pain to Aadya and Shruti. They did not deserve this . Anuj was going to marry Shruti and the three were so happy . She came in between them n spilt everything for the three of them, she always spoilt things . Anupama weeps and regrets . Kinjal tries to calm n console mummy.
Anupama wants to go back n leave the three to move on . Kinjal convinces mummy to stay right here n be separated from Anuj, to avoid him.
Anuj celebrates Shru’s BD with a chocolate pastry n single candle, Shru is heart broken on the prospect of Anuj leaving her for Anupama. . She spends few close moments with Anuj n feels these might be their last . Anuj apologises for hurting her. Feels guilty for spoiling her birthday , he never wanted tk spoil this day for her. He should never have met Anupama today. He was waiting to meet her for last five years . He could not stop himself when she asks him to meet her , he failed to stop himself from confessing what he had bottled up over last five years. Anupama did not want to meet him, he was the one who persuade her . He recently learnt Joshi Ben was Anupama , his Anu.
He loved his kid n did everything to keep her happy p, She hated Anuoama so much she changed her name because it had Anu in it . He apologises for not revealing about meeting Anupama . He confesses he still loved Anu and failed to move on from her . He did not know what was their future , but he knew he could not love any one other than Anu . He apologises to Shruti . Shru feels Joshi Ben was very lucky . Anuj disagrees . He feels MaAn never had time for one another , they were both entangled with problems of daily life . They remained involved in resolving issues , never had time for one another .
