Honestly I don't think Fighter was the best judge of his chemistry with Deepika. They need to do more films together. I loved the little Patty and Minni story but I still found more heat between them offscreen. Excluding Deepika, my ranking would be:

1. Aishwarya by far

2. Katrina

3. Barbara

4. Kareena

5. Preity

6. Priyanka

7. Yami (I loved them in Kaabil)

8. Sonam in that Oppo ad

they had two romantic songs, both of them in swimsuits and doing romantic/sexy poses, but still the chemistry was not as expected, I dont know if they were trying too hard to create that chemistry, sometimes it's better to just keep things simple and natural and the chemistry happens.

I actually liked them much more in Bekaar Dil, especially when they're dancing. But then revealing especially for a patriotic movie like Fighter was a bad move. I get that they both have gorgeous bodies and all but no. Ishq Jaisa Kuch shouldn't even have been there tbh. I hope that they get to do like a proper romcom or a mature love story in the future where they keep it simple and natural, like you said. Both are good actors and there is so much untapped potential there.

Honestly I was expecting more of a slow romantic song, that would also go with the theme of the film, something like dil diyaan gallan, but sid went for two very high fashion up tempo songs which just did not fit the movie or even the story, which is why I think they were trying too hard to show 'sexy' chemistry as opposed to something romantic, and tbh it didn't work very well. Plus it didn't help that the songs aren't chartbusters.

Hrithik and Aishwarya as a couple are a class apart but omg the chemistry between these two was truly sizzling

Hrithik and deepika ‘s chemistry felt like 2 trees planted next to each other

Their story had a lot of scope in fighter ….even if it’s a patriotic film there is an undercurrent emotion with their relationship..it’s not frivolous like say …HR and Kat in bang bang .,.there is a seriousness to it ….actors with chemistry could have elevated that to the next level

Here it just felt very ded ..I blame deepika more than I blame hrithik for this …deepikas “longing stares” felt so damn artificial and try hard (just like that insta meme / troll video) i just lost all connect with their relationship

Hrithik and Kareena don't have to do anything besides stand next to each other and/or look at each other and you would feel the heat between them. It's explosive imo.

One would expect Hrithik and DP to have great chemistry but it was nonexistent despite them trying so hard to bring it with the beachy, intimate poses. If Hrithik was doing that with Kareena or Aish.....🥵🥵🥵

Also, people constantly bringing up bad films to discount chemistry need to realize that the two aren't tied together. You can do shit films but still have the best chemistry with your coactor, and vice versa. They aren't mutually exclusive. Hrithik and Aish, as compared to Hrithik and Kareena, were lucky to do the best films together. However, despite the slate of flops, Hrithik and Kareena managed to create so much chemistry that people still go gaga over it today.

Yes, I’m hoping Kiara has a good part in War 2, with Vaani also even though she had a short role, they had amazing chemistry.
Amisha and Kareena from his earlier films, well so much heat, same with Katrina, I think looks wise Aishwarya and Katrina complements him so well too.

Alia actually does not have chemistry with most of her costars except Varun and Vicky I think
