My favourite thing about him, amongst many, is the way his eyes swell with tears when looking lovingly at Imlie. There’s such tenderness and care in his eyes. This is one of the first shows where I’ve seen the male lead cry as much as the female lead. And I mean this in a really good way, his vulnerability is the best part about him.

Even in today’s episode, the way Agastya and Imlie were looking at each other during their marriage. It’s all in the eyes with Sai and Adrija, especially if you compare it to their first marriage in court.

I’ll miss his English Babu moments. Those scenes were Agastya has been confused when Imlie used more colloquial Hindi terms like “chulubaar” or the sequence where they were trying to figure out her favourite flower.

His banter with Imlie was always so natural, one of my favourite is from the episode where Imlie realizes her feelings, when he gives her the appointment letter for Chaudhary Sweets. That entire sequence down to when she throws him out of the room and he says “ajeeb larki ho tum” was hilarious.

I’m sure Sai and Adrija will give us something fun with Surya-Imlie scenes as well. I don’t doubt their ability to give us an amazing performance.

But I do hope we get some flashbacks or dream sequence of August Babu for Imlie and our sake.

But the makers are surely going to confuse us multiple times over the next few months.

I wonder how long the track will last. The scene with Aruna-jhi proved that they had been setting all of this up for a while. However, I feel like August Babu will be back for Holi so end of March ish.

This would be their first holi as a couple and usually ITV puts a big importance on that. Either by then the audience and Imlie will know that August Babu is alive and in disguise. Or god forbid, Surya falls in love with Imlie and tries to bring colours back in her life. I can’t imagine Imlie falling in love with someone else at all but especially not so early after her Babu’s demise. It would feel wrong to see her manao holi with Surya if he’s not Agastya. Aage ki kahani jaane TRP rani 🙏🏼

Holi is on March 25th. I do think we would know by that time that Agastya is Surya and Imlie would also probably know it. If the team is maintaining the same pace then maybe we will have Binny too out of Agastya - Imlie's ka life and we might have Agastya and Imlie celebrating Holi together.

Definitely I can not take Imlie falling in love with Surya - She is Agastya's wife and it would be wrong to see her with Surya if Surya is not Agastya. TRP audience will not like that.

Imagine if she actually was pregnant and the Chaudhary’s didn’t believe it to be Agastya’s but instead brought back how something must’ve happened when Vishwa kidnapped her. Maybe that sequence had more value than the social message we believed it to be. And now with Vishwa dead and them not believing Imlie, the taunts could get real nasty and society could get involved.

On the other end, imagine if Binni is actually pregnant by someone else like we thought, which is why her parents were trying to force her to get married. And with Agastya being dead, she can cook up a narrative that they “consummated” on the first night and that it’s his child.

The Chaudhary’s would be the kind to lose their real waaris and apnao the other kid because of their lack of trust. I don’t think the writers would go there, at least I hope they don’t. However, this is the kind of thing that would be resolved only with August Babu being back though so ka pata ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@sai2311 Although shocking, I found your theory about Surya stepping in to protect Imlie’s izzat and offering to marry her for the child’s sake to be interesting. The idea of Agastya walking into that after recovering from severe injuries had me thinking of the song Acha Sila Diya. I wouldn’t want August Babu’s first moment back to be one of mistrust and misunderstanding but it would serve angst.

I think the first half of your post will happen. There will be two pregnancies. Binni and Imlie.

But Agastya as Surya will only marry her. There won't be a MU between them. Kitni baar Agastya will not trust her. Seen it a million times haven't we?

Casual way to kill the fans

I love it. I can see his excitement pour out from the screen. I'm so happy this man is getting to portray everything he ever wished for. Surya will be a great foil to Agastya. I have absolutely faith Sai will do justice.

If anyone noticed the hashtag he used - mass (of course it is a massy character) and ag (this he uses for Agastya so don't give hope). Sai left clues for his fans to decode lol
