Tbh I don't think armaan is even doing emo cheating right now. If he was there is no one stopping him from committing full blown EMA and ruhi is already ready. And people who are feeling sorry for rohit. Perhaps if he doesn't ran away like a coward armaan wouldn't be doing this right now. The narrative is clear that Vidya is constantly pushing armaan to babysit ruhi. I'm not defending armaan I actually want him to face consequences because he initially betrayed Rohit and abhira's wrath too but people are way overdoing with the current situation

He would be committing ema if he had even a slight intention of it. His major issue is he can't see the obvious. He blames himself for Ruhi's condition. He genuinely cares for her like a family member. Top of it the harder he tries to maintain distance either Ruhi guilt trips him or the family pushes him towards her.

Armaan needs to stay away from Ruhi. Woh bachha nahi hain ab ki kuch samajh nahi sakte. It was Ruhi's decision to get married to someone else. And here decision to stay in the house after Rohit went lapata.
