Yes, I agree living in Hostel made Adi different. He is more open minded but still Adi needs more improvement in his character. His understanding of most things are limited, he needs to change that.

Adi is different from others in the family because he knows/experienced how evil his father is and I think, he being well taught/raised by Malini, doesn't believe/follow his father..
