After the engagement she wanted to tell the truth to everyone about their love affair then Armaan asked her not to break off the engagement and said that dialogue which you mentioned

Isski bajane se kya fayda. Hope they doesn't show Abhira falling first for this loser. Hope she treats him as her friend and feels disgust about him and Ruhi when she gets to know about their love affair. She should focus on her studies and internship which she's already doing. Hope she gets a best man as she deserves
