I thought DKP ,RS will be closing the shutters soon for whatever they did , but here all their shows are rocking with high Trp’s?

I think we often overlook the fact that a show can't solely rely on one character to carry it forward. Just because we favor a particular character doesn't render others irrelevant. If that were the case, shows wouldn't feature male leads, villains, side characters, or individuals stirring up drama. The makers would just keep showcasing the romance between the female lead and male lead all day long, while the plot stagnates. But that's not how it works in reality. If you listen to RS's interviews, he himself acknowledges that they can't always show everything in a positive light.

Mostly, online audiences clamor for their favorite pair, but the true kingmakers, the TRP audiences, crave for intense drama and twists. They thrive on a good villain and love triangles; they're the ones who keep the show financially afloat.

To cut to the chase, I genuinely believe that just because you idolize a certain actor or actress in the show, it doesn't negate the contributions of others. Every character plays a vital role in shaping the narrative and keeping the audience engaged.

Some ppl in poddars add regressive thoughts

So every character has importance in the show. A show can not run with one character.

Some of us here are just neutral viewers or not even watching anymore like myself. I dipped out of following the show two weeks back. My perspective ain't about worshiping one character.

RS himself keeps dishing out love triangles in all his shows. Like, seriously, check out any of SP shows - triangles galore! Why? 'Cause that's what's selling to the TRP audience. Every writer knows what the TRP audience craves to see. A 2.4 TRP is solid, especially with Abhira, Armaan, and Ruhi in the mix. All three of 'em are important.

This sounds music to the ears only if one didn’t witness the nastiness during the nascent stage of this gen. 🙁
