They have done an age appropriate casting. Both leads are like 20-21 according to the serial and they both look like they are of that age. Surprisingly their acting is also pretty decent. Wasn't expecting that. Have no idea what is happening in the story as I am only watching their scenes.

Watching an itv after ages but still nothing changed. Random romantic scenes out of nowhere with the leads keeping a 1mm distance from each other even while having a normal conversation . Watching some scenes I wonder how the actors do it without laughing their ass out . They are basically in such wierd positions for random romantic scenes. These two have a pretty noticable height difference and will be standing in 1mm distance so the poor girl always have to up her head as much as she can to stand face to face with the guy. Pretty sure she might be wearing a cervical collar after every shoot . Seeing her in most scenes give me a neck pain

Production quality and camera are better than pak dramas. Seems like itv is still making hell lot of money. Also the girl is the typical sanskari lecturer but most of the time is wearing sleeveless and backless dresses. Something we won't be seeing in a sanskari or even modern pak female character

So trueee ..even i saw those scenes in reels ....itv does have spicy scenes but for a star plus show pandya store is quite bold...random to random romantic scenes to an extent that they look weird

also itv does make a lot of money....shows run for years that too 7 days a week and actors get 1-2 lakhs per episode

and that sanskari lecturer heroine are too much most of the indian girls dont relate to that...girls in india are not that sanskari wearing proper suits and jewellery 24*7- making breakfast at 5-6 in morning or going to temples daily

At what time does this serial air? I didn't check it's timing. I have seen some scenes of yeh hai chahatein which used to air at 11 and they had such bold scenes. It would have been better to show a kissing scene than those scenes. So compared to that the scenes in panday stores are mild. The leads just talk with just a 1mm distance whether they are romancing or fighting. Except that there are only very few usual Dori tieing and touchy feely scenes. Also since the leads look very young and cute all those scenes don't come off as sensual as other itv. At times the girl looks underaged and the guy is also very young looking. So their scenes are more cute

Everything is too much in itv. The girl here thankfully is not as big of a lecturer as usual itv. There is no proper komolika type of villain either. Every character is quite grey and even the most grey characters are also not completely ruthless or heartless. Not much planning and plotting to an inhuman level. Surprisingly everything is pretty mild in this drama for itv. I guess it's because I was expecting much more absurdity from an itv show and this one didn't live upto the absurdity and stupidity I was expecting .

The girl ain't that sanskari though. Like her tshirt got ripped pretty badly in a crowed place and her mother in law tried to make it a big deal and she was like wtf. The male lead also didn't care and so did her grandmother. They were all like the mil is over reacting. Also for a super conservative family the daughter and daughter in laws are showing enough skin.

The pdptrp is only 2-3 rating lesser than posted by hum. So it will still end up having 10-20 rating which means it did beat TB.

The only case in which IM is not beating TB is the craze the lead's chemistry created. Fazal baksh already replaced murtu Maharaj, IM got higher rating than TB and it's yt views are on par with tb while it was onair.

I am on X and FB's hype doesn't seem anywhere near as Murtasim's when TB was on air. Do you think the hype is more on Tiktok or IG? or on the ground?

Or if you mean Murtasim's hype now? Because of course now, when TB is off air and TB hype has worn off, FB will naturally be more popular.

It seems so seeing how much viral bilal's dance and some scenes are getting. For that the mass audiences should be watching the show. I am not from Pakistan so don't know how much it's on ground level but seeing the trp and memes in general pak pages on insta it does look like it's very popular on the ground level.

so FB and the random scenes are here to stay.. Momina bhabhi would be ecstatic that something stuck for HUM and is hitting the sweet spot finally...the only good thing about the latest IM episode was - when Shibra says he is looking so so..and FB is smug and mutters to himself, abhi tumne Shahmeer kahan dekha hai..something on those lines otherwise it was all like

There was an old allu arjun movie which had a very similar story. I think it was called Arya. It had the same story. The hero was in love with a girl who liked his best friend and to unite them he fights the villain. I don't remember the ending of whether the girl falls for him or he dies. I watched the Malayalam dubbed version in the early 2000s. There was a short period of time in Kerala when dubbed Telugu movies would be shown on tv.
