Oh that was one epic scambut I don't think it was corporate booking that started with Gangubai only, Krish 3 mein toh Papa Roshan ne hearsay mein fudging kar dali, same calculator was used in Kaabil also

Lol Instead of spending 20 or 30 crores on corporate bookings, why not just toss 1 or 2 crores each to these box office analysts? There are only like 10 of them that people actually follow and trust. It would save them a ton of hassle

It actually started from Happy New Year then it became official during Dhoni times (Dhoni team was khullam khulla about that). HNY time there were gossip and blinds about SRK performing at a wedding and asking the host to buy tickets of his recent release instead. There was news about the free distribution of tickets to different offices.

The film was low on weekdays, grew on Saturday and flat on Sunday as no mass acceptance. A very normal trending for a film which has found some sort of acceptance in urban pockets . BOI says it will drop again today.

I think it's helpful for big films like Jawan that are touted to make and break records coz the frenzy of advance bookings and shit creates massive buzz that gives the film long legs if it is good. For medium level films like Rocky rani, Gangubai, Heropanti 2, spkk etc it is a complete waste and it is just done to satisfy the over inflated egoes of the stars & makers. Coz most of these movies have a very average opening. For Fighter if it is happening then it is indeed a last ditch effort to save face of the leads & makers involved & escape the Flop tag.

Yeah, It'd be pretty dumb to mess with the numbers in the second weekend. The damage is done, and the fate is sealed. An extra 10 or 20 crores wouldn't make much difference anyway. Let it go.
