If MJ wasn’t played by Ayeza, she would have been the second lead and might not even be romancing Wahaj in the OST. It should have been Ayra.

Funny that ARY is promoting Mein as the love story of Zaid and MJ when the only time they actually had some kind of romance was in ep 28, a single episode out of 32 Even now we are not sure whether Zaid loves her or not.

MJ is central character that's why it is offered to Ayeza.

Badar included a lot of kachra scenes while shooting, even chopped proper bipolar track but casting was done by original script. Of course it's Badars meherbani that Azekha got a lot of screen space than even male lead. If screenspace could decide who is lead then papa Asif is the male lead.

It was Aamna failing as an interviewer. The drama never tells us that Zaid and MJ ever had a thing for each other in the past, there were no flashbacks and no indications of it. People kept writing stories in their head and writing narrative of the show around it, they attributed Zaid's actions to the love story which never took place, it wasn't Badar or Zanjabeel's fault. Aamna's question itself was wrong so writer replied according to that, Aamna presented a narrative where Zaid's dialogues indicated towards past which wasn't written by the writer so she just made things up. Writer is not watching the drama, she didn't even know Asif's last name lol, how can she recall the line? She simply clarified that there was no past and if there was a line, which there wasnt, it wasn't by her. Actors saying it or Badar adding it were options only. The interviewer Aamna is too engrossed with sex life of people to pose right questions, we had to read between the lines lol

I quite didn’t get the writer POV , she says show was for TRP , badar included few elements and Zaid was not at all like she visualised but had she seen the show ? And am like there was not even a single scene of Zaid where his thoughts are put across , agree Zaid wardrobe was dud but when char has no screen space how will it be connected to audiences - not even one scene nothing.

Next on Wahaj should put clause I need two monologue scenes preferably with me smoking one in middle of show and one at end.

Exactly! Actors improvise scenes and dialogues all time but they don’t say something to change the plot !

but saying something to hint he had a thing for her earlier can’t be slip of tongue unless it means he meant he went thru all this emotions of love with aira and even though they are together , that love is lost and they are in because they are married 🙃 and he doesn’t want to go thru route with MJ but then pool scene 🤷‍♀️

So true. This party bts was out and we thought they are married/ couple & he was trying to calm her down after something.. half of it was true but other things a shocker..
