It can be a mix of both. Abhira gets shot. Armaan realises his true feelings for Abhira. He takes care of her. Abhira notices a shift in air. She begins to see Armaan in a different light and then bam valentine's day she mu Armaan of having ema with Ruhi.

I can understand that his offscreen personality can be quite off-putting 😂😂

He's a typical delhi da punjabi launda off screen 😂😂, and that is annoying AF. But I'm kind of immune to that since I'm a Punjabi with too much family in delhi.

I also didn't like him a lot in the beginning, I started liking him when he started trying to find yuvraj ka sach after Abhira said in the court ki he's her stalker. Which does prove your point.

And I think I was a goner after the first all black look, Rohit ka sangeet look, in which he dashed to Mussoorie

Yes, he's improved in leaps n bounds and is doing a commendable job! I especially love the expressive eyes!
