Iâm glad theyâre bringing Ashu-jhi back in the story, I just wish it wasnât during the era of the revenge family. Navya really gaslighted her son into believing heâs the victim. Whereâs the police and why arenât they arresting him?
They treat serious crimes like blackmail and kidnapping nonchalantly in this show. Total mood off .
I miss the vibes of the show before them, it was so much more whimsical in a retro way. Navya is being more vampy but something is still lacking. Gul has had some iconic female villains in the past, I donât know why this season is falling weak. Amrapaliâs Tanveer in QH S2 and Reynaâs Svetlana in IB were something else. It doesnât have to be a female third angle, just an actress that carries poise and charisma in an evil way.
I too miss the vibes present in initial episodes. The whole premise of contract marriage between bar singer and businessman felt like I am reading a wattpad book with Desi tadka.
Coming to female villains, Even Anu of Imlie season one and two was classy. she was also a criminal but the actress portraying the character was good. You could see the sophistication and elite mannerisms in her which can't be said same for Navya
Sonaliâs scene with the killer had the right amount of suspense. She was smart enough to hide and not show her panic, Asma nailed that scene. But within a confined space, she had limited options to hide so itâs good that Amar came in to save her. I like their dynamic, I hope heâs not gonna turn out evil for now.
Best part of episode for me.
I think I was underwhelmed by the family scene because it got spoiled beforehand. We knew Imlie was in the right, they just had to throw in the drama as prasad to TRP Mata. I honestly expected Alka to be more cruel with her words, nothing new was said so I wasnât shocked. It doesnât hold a candle to the breakfast scene.
They seriously need to upgrade the drama quotient if they want to remain in the race but i would say that today Imlie bhashan did the work
Iâm not able to feel bad for the Chaudharyâs right now in regards to the whole Kairi thing. They donât know enough about her to hate her. In comparison to Kunal and Meera, the pain doesnât feel as deep. We had Alka, Dadi, Sonali and Agastya to give us exposition on that story. The details werenât always consistent but they fixed it overtime. With Dhanraj, they canât even decide whose son he is or how old he is in comparison to his siblings. Khabhi Govind ka chota beta toh khabhi Dadi ka bada pota. Dhanrajâs death was a car accident, how are they even remotely blaming it on Kairi? Itâs a stretch to say that itâs because he chose to be with her that heâs dead. She also died that day, they didnât even bother to take her to the hospital according the original story.
These loopholes lessen the overall impact. They take away the connection that audience start having with character
Iâm more worried about Imlieâs patti. This girl is navigating around the house, doing her henna and getting ready like itâs no big issue. Whereâs the doctor and are her eyes fine?
Weâre not getting the wedding with all big rasams it seems. Itâs more symbolic like their chunri ceremony was the sheet falling on their head. Agastya touching Imlieâs henna on the ramp was their mehendi. At least weâll have an actual haldi ceremony tomorrow. Who knows if theyâll even be married by the end of this track ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
I believe this time shadi hogi albeit with some twist or high drama. You can't fool audience twice. Leads have to be married to show that they belong to each other
