But kajol do not desreve even one film fare actually if you compare the character or perforamce of past heroines like sharmila, nutan, meena kumar, madhubala or even sridevi, hema malini, madhuri dixit

kajol is not a good actress by real acting standards

tabu, vidya balan, rani mukherjee are much better than kajol in acting so is urmila matondkar, manisha koirala, juhi and a few others of 90s actresses. Majority 90s actresses are better at acting than kajol but kajol became hit paired opp SRK so all think shes good actress

kajol just luck out paired with SRK and amir khan

Kajol definitely deserved her best actress awards for KKHH and DDLJ. She was great in those films and both of these films are iconic. People still watch her and appreciate her in such films. Until this day. Anyone who disagrees just doesn’t like Kajol, but you can’t deny the magic. Fanaa was amazing as well. I loved her in that film, as did most people. She acted well!

You can’t get a best actress award just by working with the Khans. It doesn’t work that way. Otherwise Taapsee would’ve won this year na?

In terms of K3G, I personally found her hilarious in the movie… until today her lines are on everyone’s lips. And I personally prefer this performance to Alia winning for Gully Boy or Rocky Rani.

MNIK - haven’t watched the film so don’t know. Save your time, if you want to complain about someone - complain about Alia. She is the definition of undeserving, in every single way.

Even if she did good work, do you think anyone watches Highway or Raazi anymore? Nobody cares. But Kajol’s best films are still watched until today and heavily appreciated. I am not even from that generation and I love DDLJ and KKHH. All the actors in both these movies were amazing and always will be. She deserves the awards, especially for the iconic status KKHH AND DDLJ reached that no other film ever will!
