Amruta was only engaged to a man three years back, and had to break that wedding on nth day as groom insisted Amruta to forget her Chitnis family responsibilities in Mumbai (when her family was in sudden financial mess as Jayesh lost hugely in his business) and shift with him to US post wedding, as groom got transferred to US.

'Sagai tootgayi' or 'Rishta tootgayi' means breaking of an engagement which will be more appropriate in case of Amruta. Hope team corrects it in future usage of scenes.

I think it was mentioned in the past that the marriage got broken in the mandap. In that situation, shaadi toot gayi is acceptable I feel. As they were talking about how society reacts, guests who were there will refer to it as shaadi toot gayi - do maybe she was repeating that.

Little off-topic, but I have never related more to a character than when Virat gave his whole spiel to Babita today and ended with "Aur kiski zaroorat hai?!" The context is totally different in my case, but it's still a solid point - kyun aur kisi ki zaroorat honi chahiye? I literally paused the episode after that line and looked my mother right in the eye like, do you have anything to say and we just sat there in silence for five minutes until she broke and snatched the remote from me.

btw found ff to be better than skipping. can always lower the speed if some info is dropped. [saw the scene in ff mode.] About bg sound - think kkb used to lower the volume when they spoke.. and came back to normal after it. (need to check)

I know what you mean! That whole speech of Virat saying he is happy by himself and doesn't need other person. Him saying "choice tab hogi jab talaash hogi. Koi talaash hi nahi hai" An sure many people related to that sentiment.

Young people being pressurised by parents to settle down should take that clip and show it to them. Arijit acted very well in that scene

Really? I didn't intend to bully Pyaarasam. It was just that I was surprised that she/he mentioned their admiration for Amvira, and then said the rest of the episode was ok, when you actually had a headache causing Babita scene. Her constipated expression (no fault of the actress, like ReshamC mentioned, the character is one-dimensional, sometimes you feel like she doesn't enact diff shades, but since the character isn't layered, you feel the actress’ talents are limited as well) was a big put off for me, added to this- the other characters also were talking (I don't know what) just that the scene went on and on.

Mukta Dhond isn't a newbie to the industry right? She should employ a good team of editors who can take care that all these gaffes don't happen frequently, otherwise all the efforts of the director, actors, the support staff all will be in vain.

Bullying may be too harsh a word. but my impression on reading it was 'Arre shant ho jao behen'.
