Geet also woke up about that time and saw the message.
She felt awkward.
She didn't want to spend the whole day alone with Maan.
Specially, after her crazy outburst yesterday.
But if she calls lady A back then she would most probably get fired before end of the day and Geet didn't want that either.
Ultimately, she chooses not to call her back.
Someone's employment was more important than her feeling uncomfortable for a day.
She tries to get up and freshen up but accidently knocks her phone to the ground.
After a moment there was a knock on the door.
Maan asked from outside:
M- is everything okay? Can I come in?
Geet patted her clothes and hair. Making sure nothing was out of place.
G- Come in. Just dropped my phone, when I was trying to get up.
Maan rushed to her side and picks up phone in passing. Placing it beside her
M- Don't get up. What do you need? I'll bring it.
G- I have to get up and freshen up. I'm sore from either sitting or lying down since yesterday.
M - Bear through it for another day. Here hold on.
He bends towards her, intending to pick her up again.
Geet loops her arms around his neck much more naturally this time.
He brings her to the washroom and helps her stand up carefully.
M- I’ll be outside. Call me once you are done. Do you want to take a bath too? I can place a chair under the shower.
Geetagreed to the arrangement, inwardly letting out a screen of horror.
Did she stink so bad??!!!

Geet quickly gets ready.
Since there wasn't a change of clothes handy, she puts on a bath robe and calls Maan telling him she was done.
When he saw her in a bathrobe, he asks:
M - Where is that assistant of yours? She should be doing all this for you. Do you want me to get you some clothes?
G - She…she... I have given her a day off...
Man was confused by this.
He knew she didn't like spending too much time with him that too alone.
So why send away her assistant?
Ahhh is this a play??? Is this her starting move?? Is this because I let her cry all over me yesterday??
He thinks to himself and spoils it.
W- I can get my own clothes…it's okay I can manage around the room.
Maan looks down at her leg.
Indeed, it wasn't swollen anymore only somewhat looked a bit bruised.
M- Alright. Come out for breakfast later.
He turns and goes out.
Geey is also a bit confused by the sudden hands off approach.
Didn't he insist on carrying her to the bathroom less than half an hour ago?
But then this attitude of his also brought a relief coz this is the usual attitude she is familiar with... the man yesterday, he was too good to her.
She ponders over what to wear then decided to go for comfort over style and pickes out a comfortable dress to wear.
She goes out and sees Maan placing various breakfast options on the table.
He had also taken a shower and had changed into casual wear.
As she sat down, he introduced options of- Fresh juice, milk, cereal, toast, fruits and soft-boiled eggs.
Both of them eat peacefully in silence.

Once done, Geet tries asking him about his schedule.
G - You came so suddenly yesterday…today also you are... your work won't be affected?
M - No. Not much going on these days.
G - I see. But... there isn't much to do here. Won't you get bored?
M - I know. But what to do? You gave your assistant day off. Otherwise, I would have left.
Geet felt as if she had picked up a big rock and dropped it on her already injured foot.
G- It's okay I can manage…plus my assistant would back in the afternoon... so, you can take off now if you want.
M - I'll stay till she comes. It's a rare break for me too.
Geet nods…. then looked around. feeling a bit awkward
G- So you wanna watch some TV?
M - Sure. Let's watch some news.
Soon both sat side by side listening to the news broadcast in silence.

After a while Maan asks:
M - Do you have any plans for new year?
G - No…nothing planned.
M - If you are free then attend the company's annual year end party with me.
G - But then...
M - It’s okay, there will be people from all professions there as some one’s guest or family. I too usually have to bring some person along. You can come this time. Nobody will think much of it.
G- Okay sure then. When is it? I have few shoots lined up. I'll make sure to avoid conflicts.
Maan tells her the date sand she makes a mental note of it.
M - So what are you working on next?
Geet starts telling him about all her upcoming work and the long-term projects she is planning to take up next.
Maan offers his frank insight on these projects.
They discuss work and the places woman got to visit in last 6 months and travel.
One topic kept leading to another.
It was only when the gate opened, and the lady A came back that they realized it was already lunch time.
This time lady A greets the boss respectfully first then takes out the planned lunch she had brought.
It was specially prepared in front of her.
All three sat down to eat.
Despite eating with the boss, Lady A felt no pressure and kept up a lively chatter.
When she sees a handsome or beautiful face, she immediately forgets about being nervous.
And since she talked about all things between heaven and earth; they also discuss that Maan would leave today evening and then the assistant and Geet will leave tomorrow morning.
So, lady A asked outright.
Lady A-Boss, why don't you take us with you? Please??
Although the Maan did not totally approve of this lady A. He agrees with the idea and stays till next day so all of them could go back together.

After going back to the city, Geet goes back to her apartment and Maan goes back to his house.
Both resume their lives as if the meeting was just a small intersect in their lives.
Geet quickly recovered within 2-3 days and begins shooting for the semi luxury brand clothing range campaign.
After that she also acts in a music video for a famous singer.
The clothing shoot goes very well.
As for the music video, it Goes a bit too well that it again led to Couple pairing rumors of her with the male protagonist of the song.
Geet looked absolutely stunning in the song with black and white shots and who doesn't like a guy in a uniform.
The on-screen chemistry was simply too good.
On top of that the song itself was melodious and a big hit.
Although the song once again pushed her to limelight and started new Couple pairing rumors. Thankfully this time both the artists agency didn't want to pursue this aspect of popularity, so rumors didn't increase.
She is also invited as a guest on a popular talk show.
She had dominated the popularity ratings in the second half of the year. And everyone wanted to know her more. Hence the invite
It is a show like Koffee with Karan, where the host likes to talk about uncomfortable private life topics and personal grudges.
